We're a no-kill, free-range cat shelter located off Route 9D in Beacon.
Offers a dog adoption program where dogs can be adopted as pets as puppies (8-12 weeks old) or as young adults (16-24 months old), occasionally, there is limited number of adult dogs who have been retired as guides or breeding dogs and are in need of a permanent, loving home.
Responds to any whale, porpoise, dolphin or sea turtle stranding on Long Island or in New York State. Provides medical care/assistance to live animals, and eventually releases them back into the wild when possible. Conducts post-mortems on dead animals, collects tissue samples for research/analysis and prepares skeletal remains for educational institutions. Operates stranding hotline and whale/seal/sea turtle adoption program. Publishes informational brochure.

Adoptions are friendly and require a simple application.
