Offers a ten week summer course for college students in the field of journalism. A letter from the college they are attending is required along with students transcript. Works to provide youth with a voice in local government; expand prevention, intervention, and counseling services for youth; provide youth workforce development and opportunities through creative partnerships; and serve at-risk youth through the Youth Counseling Program, Anti-Crime Program, and Code of Conduct Program.

Provides skill building and credentialing in order to help participants (18-21 yrs) obtain diploma/certificates, get a job, and strengthen the local workforce.

Encourages youth to establish a good work ethic through employment and workshops. Promotes punctuality, teamwork, how to follow rules and regulations, as well as respect of self, co-workers and supervisors. At- risk youth are selected between the ages of 14-18. Interviews are held in May and orientation in June. Employment is seven weeks, Monday-Friday. Worksites are established within the community at local churches, schools, agencies, parks and beaches. Workshops are given throughout the program in areas such as Banking, Job Attitudes, Career Goals, Job Interviewing and Resume Writing. Provides families with the chance to learn about, interact with and enjoy animals in a natural farm setting. Offers spring, summer, fall and planting field trips throughout the year. Also offers a Martial Arts Program, career explorations, Martin Luther King Scholarship which is given annually to deserving students, and the Kearse Soccer Clinic. Year round individual and family counseling offered. Tutorial and homework assistance is also available as well as workshops on substance prevention, underage drinking, teenage pregnancy, and HIV/AIDS.
