Offers job training and support services through the work center with an assessment and building practical job skills, and under supervision the participants work and get paid for a variety of services. There is also training in janitorial, greenhouse/horticultural or customer service.
A six week summer internship program that includes job placement, weekly youth development, self-sufficiency skill building, and a stipend upon successful completion of the program.
Provides access to job database individuals with visual impairments or other disabilities, offers counseling for displaced homemakers, disabled individuals, or others in transition or "beginning again" situations. Also services include basic skills training and remediation, GED preparation, youth competency, work experience, occupational/vocational training, on-the-job training and customized training for eligible employers. Computer classes are available from basic application, and Quickbooks.
Provides youth and adults with employment and training oriented programs such as job readiness skills, skill building, pre-employment skills, employment referrals, job placement, post-employment services, entrepreneurial development and career directed training.

New York State Commission for the Blind's (NYSCB) Business Enterprise Program (BEP) offers opportunities for individuals who are blind to gain the training and skills necessary to manage one of several vending facilities located in Federal and state office buildings throughout the state. After completing an intensive training program, BEP managers become proficient in all aspects of retail management including purchasing products, controlling inventory, marketing products, maintaining good customer relations, and keeping accurate records.
Provides opportunities for regional businesses and government agencies, along with developing jobs for those with developmental disabilities. Services and training range from custodial, food service, retail, clerical support, manufacturing, assembly, packaging and distribution.

Internship program where students are paid by NECC while working at local businesses. The program prepares teenagers to enter the work force by connecting them with mentors at local businesses. Location of work is with various businesses in the Millerton/Amenia area.

This program helps eligible, disadvantaged youth with employment, and earn up to $900 to cover expenses if they get training from an authorized NY Youth Works provider. Also this program encourages businesses to hire disadvantaged adolescents and young adults.
Provides sheltered workshops offering on-site factory like setting, food service program and clerical training for adults with developmental disabilities. Also available are supportive and competitive work programs.

Vocational Program evaluates and prepares individuals with mental illness, for employment, job development and job coaching services.
