New York State Commission for the Blind's (NYSCB) Business Enterprise Program (BEP) offers opportunities for individuals who are blind to gain the training and skills necessary to manage one of several vending facilities located in Federal and state office buildings throughout the state. After completing an intensive training program, BEP managers become proficient in all aspects of retail management including purchasing products, controlling inventory, marketing products, maintaining good customer relations, and keeping accurate records.

Provides access to job database individuals with visual impairments or other disabilities, offers counseling for displaced homemakers, disabled individuals, or others in transition or "beginning again" situations. Computer classes are available from basic application, web design, A+ training, etc.

The Vocational Centers offer job opportunities for individuals to develop and improve the skills necessary to meet their goals for employment. The Youth Services Program provides employment skills development which includes how to write a resume, prepare for an interview, time management and conflict resolution. This program also includes a job match service that provides information about jobs available in the local community and support services for the students and adults who care for (and about) them. This program is located at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake and Scotia-Glenville High Schools and the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Community Human Services building.
