Offers middle school and high school students a fun and safe place to hangout after school. Youth get assistance with homework, are provided a healthy snack and evening meal, participate in unique learning activities, go on field trips, hear from dynamic speakers, and volunteer in the community.

Provides assistance and staff support for individuals to obtain, maintain, and/or advance in employment. Services provided include job development, career exploration, resume building, interview skill building, job searches, and job coaching.

Provides a ten-week paid internship program to youth. Coordinates placement opportunity within their field of interest to receive mentorship and training resulting in experience and expose to the talent pools entering the workforce.

Program enables expectant mothers and new mothers to continue their education. Offers an opportunity to complete a regular high school or GED program, education in child development, counseling, and job training. A nursery school is available while the mothers participate in this full day program.

Offers supported employment opportunities which include job development, job coaching, person centered vocational profiles, vocational assessments, vocational planning, counseling, employment, job training, job placement, and transitional support to school age students.

Works to provide youth with a voice in local government; expand prevention, intervention, and counseling services for youth; provide youth workforce development and opportunities through creative partnerships; and serve at-risk youth through the Youth Counseling Program, Anti-Crime Program, and Code of Conduct Program.

Offers labor market information regarding unemployment insurance including the process of filing claims, answers to inquiries regarding existing claims, information regarding job training programs, including those funded by the WIA (Workforce Investment Act), the Older Americans Act, the Senior Community Employment Opportunity Program, the Perkins Act, and the Federal Unemployment Tax Act. Provides information regarding programs for education and training, and referrals to local resources. Provides job search assistance, use of Resource Room which includes personal computers, job banks, resume software, a photocopier, fax machine, telephone bank, workstations, instructional videos, and a listing of employer job orders in the job bank. Provides families with the chance to learn about, interact with and enjoy animals in a natural farm setting. Offers spring, summer, fall and planting field trips throughout the year. Training in practical skills for today's workforce providing support in finding hands-on career programs, training to build confidence and professionalism in interviews, resume writing, career coaching, apprenticeship and internships, and monthly classes for personal and professional growth.

New York State Commission for the Blind's (NYSCB) Business Enterprise Program (BEP) offers opportunities for individuals who are blind to gain the training and skills necessary to manage one of several vending facilities located in Federal and state office buildings throughout the state. After completing an intensive training program, BEP managers become proficient in all aspects of retail management including purchasing products, controlling inventory, marketing products, maintaining good customer relations, and keeping accurate records.

Internship program where students are paid by NECC while working at local businesses. The program prepares teenagers to enter the work force by connecting them with mentors at local businesses. Location of work is with various businesses in the Millerton/Amenia area.
