Personal Essentials Pantry: Provides personal care items (toothbrushes, soap, dish liquid, shampoo, etc.) for those in need. Provides the foundation for careers in court reporting. Full and part time schedules are available with both day and evening classes offered.

A job training and placement program which trains local youth from low income families to be landscapers or stone masons, with work placement when they complete the course.

Provides High School Equivalency instruction, skill trades and apprenticeship training, career counseling, job training and placement, and daytime adult job training.

Assists youth and adults to succeed in the workforce by encouraging self-sufficiency, familiarizing them with the world of work, facilitating the creation of job opportunities, and providing services related to these activities. Vocational rehabilitation provides HSED (formerly GED), career readiness workshops, vocational and classroom training, construction technology program, and work experience services for members of the Seneca Nation of Indians and other federally recognized Nations residing 20 miles of all Seneca Nation territories who have a documented disability. Tribal 477 provides HSED (formerly GED), training, career readiness workshops, vocational and classroom training, construction technology program, and work experience services for members of the Seneca Nation of Indians and other federally recognized Nations (and children of an enrolled Seneca father) residing 25 miles of the Cattaraugus, Allegany and Oil Springs territories.

Provides work fare, intake and assessment, job readiness, resume preparation, job search, job training and mentoring, customer service training, and online TASC (GED) tutorial assistance.

Provides targeted skills training, workforce readiness, and job placement services into higher wage careers. ​Four-week training is provided at no charge and connects participants directly with hiring employers in advanced manufacturing and technology. Upon graduation, all participants receive a $500 stipend for work completed during the hands-on portion of training and access to an expert Goodskills Career Coach for up to three years.

OWS provides comprehensive employment services, including job skill training programs, unemployment information, cover letter and resume assistance workshops, job referrals, internships, support services, career counseling and more.

Course offerings include: Blueprint Reading for the Construction Trades; OSHA 10-Hour for Construction Certification; OSHA 30-Hour for Construction Safety Certification and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Safety Certification. * Home Health Aide Core Class provides training involving a 75-hour training program which is comprised of 59 classroom hours and 16 supervised practical training (SPT) hours. The SPT will occur in the skills laboratory (8 hours) and in a client care setting (8 hours) under the supervision of an approved Nurse Instructor. * Personal Care Aide to a Home Health Aide - the Home Health Aide Training Program provides 35 hours of training. * Transitional class for Home Health Aides involves classroom hours and skills lab assessment. There are no set hours required for this upgrading program. HCR's Supervising Nurse Instructor may exercise discretion in determining the amount of time required to conduct the Transitional and/or Competency class. It is estimated to take between four (4) and twelve (12) hours based on the level of experience of the aide. * Training for Nurses, Therapists and Care Managers provides ongoing education/training completed through orientation, in-services (Home Health Aide's included), team meetings, and competency days.

NEW’s evening offering, NEW at Night (NAN), is a nine-week program geared towards giving women a well-rounded introduction to the building trades and hands on training experience with tools and building materials. NAN is offered for women who have daytime commitments.

Offering an opportunity for individuals to be Fair Housing Testers. LIHS is a nonprofit fair housing agency with openings for testers. Testers are considered per diem employees rather than employees. However, LIHS will train and pay volunteers Testers a stipend of $17.00 per hour plus travel expenses. Candidates must have the following qualifications: Must attend training session must be reliable must have reliable transportation Willing to work in Nassau & Suffolk Ability to follow instruction, follow through ability to write a report responsibly maintain communication honesty and objectivity and a clean record (no record or fraud convictions). LIHS needs conscientious people for this project.

Offers training to meet the needs of the professional mental health and recovery community. For practicing professionals, offers certification and re-certification classes across a range of topics, including motivational interviewing, trauma and grief, and ethics, approved for credit by NYS OASAS and NYSED for LMSW/LCSW, LMHC, and LMFT. Additionally, offers CPR classes suitable for initial and re-certification of both the general public and medical professionals.

Including Emergency Medical Technician. * Provides an academic support center. Peer or professional tutoring assistance with any FLCC course.* Provides online courses and 23 entirely online degree programs.

Types of training may include: LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) training. CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) training. CDL (Commercial Driver's License) training.

* Provides 150-hour program to prepare for the New York State certification exam. * Offers a combination of classroom and clinical experience, including laboratory, practical, classroom, and clinical training. Students are assigned to care for one or more residents in facility settings.

Offers training programs to cover all aspects of firefighting, fire safety, fire rescue, and other associated first responder skills and techniques.
