The City Recreation Center Biggest Loser Program is a lifestyle change program. Up to 20-24 applicants are chosen to participate in the program. Participants are those who are looking to and are ready to make a healthy lifestyle change. The North Country's Biggest Loser Program consists of weight training, circuit training and cardio workouts with certified trainers and volunteer coaches combined with the nutrition education from certified nutritionists, registered dietitians, and physician assistants. Candidates will be chosen through an application process and will require a physicians release. Memberships for all participants are free; however there is a $125 fee to cover the expense of the personal trainers. All activities will take place at the City Recreation Center, located at 52 US Oval.
