Provides free exercise classes for cancer patients utilizing resistance bands, stability balls and floor work. All exercises can be modified to your range of motion, ability, and recovery process. Meets in Conference room A.

Offers aquatic programs including swim teams, private and semi-private lessons, American Red Cross lifeguard training, water safety instruction, adult group lessons, aqua aerobics, children's swim lessons and aqua arthritis exercise. Walk-ins welcome.

Mounted lessons may take place in the indoor or outdoor arenas or along our sensory trail. We have a wheelchair lift to mount riders with mobility issues & have volunteers who serve as leaders and side-walkers as needed. All activities and timing will be tailored to the rider’s individual needs. Lessons are typically 45 min, with 30-45 minutes on the horse. First-time riders at Topfield must have their individual needs assessed by our Instructional and Program staff before the first lesson. This is an additional booking that will need to be scheduled before the mounted lesson.

Provides ten one-hour home visits by recreational therapist to homebound Multiple Sclerosis patients.

Provides various therapy services for those recovering from surgery, illness, or disability. The rehab staff utilizes the best exercise equipment available to improve movement, strength, endurance and function in order to assist patients back to their optimal level of activity.

Medically Oriented Gym with adaptive and accessible equipment and programming specially designed to work for all body types and disabilities. Offers services not offered by traditional gyms. Exercise specialists and physical therapists frequently work with people with disabilities. Services and amenities offered include: - Fitness center with machines and free weights - Custom exercise program design - Physical therapy services - Nutrition consultation - Group training classes - Medically trained staff on-site who are available to answer questions, check vitals, and facilitate care - Regular communication with members' healthcare team (optional)

Provides swim instruction and recreational, competitive, and specialty aquatics programs for all ages and abilities, including parent-child classes, water exercise and therapy, water safety and rescue, and water sports.

Provides activities including bingo, coffee and conversation, seasonal arts and crafts, fitness classes including yoga, lectures, and creative arts. Offers recreational trips and engaging classes and trainings through University Express and other partners. Programs meet at several locations on the West Side. A hot lunch is offered every weekday through the Erie County Department of Senior Services’ Stay Fit Dining Program. The Childrenâs Rehabilitation Center is an outpatient pediatric diagnostic and treatment center that provides comprehensive medical and rehabilitative services to children ages birth to 21-years-old with complex physical and developmental disabilities throughout Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Dutchess and Orange Counties and the Bronx. The Childrenâs Rehabilitation Center is located on the same site as the White Plains campus of the John A. Coleman School.Services include: physical, occupational, speech and language pathology, aquatic and feeding therapies. Medical specialties include, but are not limited to: orthopedics, physiatry, ophthalmology, neurology, neonatology, pediatrics and audiology. In addition, brace, orthotic and adaptive equipment clinics, psychological and social work services, and Care at Home case management services are provided.
