Mounted lessons may take place in the indoor or outdoor arenas or along our sensory trail. We have a wheelchair lift to mount riders with mobility issues & have volunteers who serve as leaders and side-walkers as needed. All activities and timing will be tailored to the rider’s individual needs. Lessons are typically 45 min, with 30-45 minutes on the horse. First-time riders at Topfield must have their individual needs assessed by our Instructional and Program staff before the first lesson. This is an additional booking that will need to be scheduled before the mounted lesson.

Provides after-school and weekend recreation and socialization program for children with special needs (K-Graduation). Activities include adaptive physical education and aquatics, arts and crafts, music and cooking. Programs are also available during school vacations. Also offers a special needs music school. Support Group for Siblings an Mommy and Me Programs. Summer camp available and Teen Programs, Social Skills Groups formed as needed.

**** From July 14th - September 19th, Office of the Aging programs and activities will be happening at alternative locations across Batavia. The main building at 2 Bank Street is still open but please call for more information. For in person help, please visit the satellite location at Genesee County Career Center, 587 East Main Street, Batavia. **** Provides weekly programs at the Batavia Senior Center. Some of the programs offered are bridge, line dancing, cribbage, arthritis chair-based exercise, quilters, and painting classes. New groups are always being organized. Special programs such as 55 Alive Driver Refresher Course, educational, health, and informational programs are also offered. Day trips to concerts, exhibits, musical productions, restaurants, and areas of special interest are also scheduled in the spring, summer, and fall. Senior groups and clubs exist in most areas of the county which offer luncheons and pot luck dinners. Most groups offer programs of interest, entertainment, day trips, and other recreational activities.
