Provides audiology and speech language pathology, including diagnostic and remedial services in speech, language, and hearing disorders. Services available for articulation, language, voice, aphasia, head trauma, accent, and hearing disorders. Diagnostic evaluation is required before therapy. Hearing screening and evaluation (including auditory processing) available by appointment. Special programs available for children with reading, writing, and auditory processing disorders, children and adults who stutter, and adults with aphasia. This is a student training facility under the supervision of NYS-licensed and ASHA-certified faculty.

Provides infants and toddlers with hearing loss, communication disorders, and/or multiple disabilities a small class milieu, 2 to 3 days a week, in a Total Communication, Language Rich Environment (LRE). Instruction is language based, and information is presented by voice, sign, pictures, music, and/or using concrete objects. Infants and toddlers have the opportunity, as appropriate, to participate in "special" classes such as music and dance, plus weekly field trips into the community. Additionally, home visits are scheduled at least once a week with a NYS Certified Teacher of the Deaf to educate family members on communication and other interactive strategies to use at home. Sign language classes and other support services are available to families through the Parent Center.

Provides preschool age children with hearing loss, communication disorders, and/or multiple disabilities a small class milieu, 5 days a week, in a Total Communication, Language Rich Environment (LRE). Instruction, following New York State Education Department standards, is provided using Total Communication - spoken, signed and written language - to meet students' individual communication needs. Related services, including Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapies, as well as counseling are available. Audiological services such as hearing tests and minor device repair (hearing aids, cochlear implants, etc.) are provided on-site by licensed audiologists. Academic based "Specials," such as Art, Drama and Music are also offered. Sign language classes and other support services are available to families through the Parent Center.

On campus university outpatient clinic with dedicated clinical staff and faculty of speech-language pathologists, audiologists, support staff, and student clinicians. Faculty and clinical staff have a variety of expertise and experience in communication sciences, speech-language development, and disorders. Assessment and therapy services are available for children and adults in the areas of speech, language, apraxia, auditory processing, aural rehabilitation, voice, fluency, aphasia, cognition, swallowing, augmentative communication and hearing (hearing evaluations, hearing aids, balance testing). The Stroke/Head Injury Support Group meets 2 times monthly during the academic year.

Offers speech and swallowing therapy, occupational/physical therapy, special education, psychology, audiology, social services, medical consults and service coordination. Also provides Applied Behavior Analysis Services (ABA) and Special Education Itinerant (SEIT) Services.

Offers Infant/Toddler and Preschool Educational Programming, including everyday listening strategies for the home; parent involvement based on auditory verbal principles; natural conversations as the basis of communication; weekly interaction with hearing peers; individualized speech and language therapy services; and integrated programs that include occupational therapy, physical therapy and other related services as needed. We provide a general otological examination to make sure that there is no medical reason that you should not receive hearing aids and will provide medical clearance for amplification.
