Provides a not-for-profit, full-service speech and hearing center. We provide speech, language, and hearing evaluations and therapy to individuals and groups of all ages and all types of communication disorders. The HY Weinberg Center for Communication Disorders provides speech-language evaluations and intervention in-person and remotely, via telepractice. Speech/Language services include: Comprehensive Speech/Language; Evaluations; Individual and Group Therapy and Parent/Family Education. Hearing services include: Complete Audiological Evaluations; Hearing Aid Evaluations; Fitting and Dispensing of Hearing Aids; Immittance Testing; Central Auditory Testing; Auditory Brainstem Response Testing (ABR); Otoacoustic Emissions Testing and Aural Rehabilitation. Group programs include: TOTalk; KIDTalk; PreRead; Social Communication Groups; Accent Modification/English Conversation Group; Adult Communication Group and Transgender Voice Group. Most services are provided free of charge with a nominal administrative fee per semester. Call for detailed information regarding each service offered.

Leap Into Literacy program works to establish the skills for literacy such as speaking, reading, writing, and viewing during the early childhood years by teaching key skills in an explicit, hierarchical fashion.

Cleft Lip / Palate Clinics
Provides audiology services to individuals of all ages, with or without disabilities. Services include hearing evaluations, typanometry, and hearing aid checks.
Provides infants and toddlers with hearing loss, communication disorders, and/or multiple disabilities a small class milieu, 2 to 3 days a week, in a Total Communication, Language Rich Environment (LRE). Instruction is language based, and information is presented by voice, sign, pictures, music, and/or using concrete objects. Infants and toddlers have the opportunity, as appropriate, to participate in "special" classes such as music and dance, plus weekly field trips into the community. Additionally, home visits are scheduled at least once a week with a NYS Certified Teacher of the Deaf to educate family members on communication and other interactive strategies to use at home. Sign language classes and other support services are available to families through the Parent Center.

On campus university outpatient clinic with dedicated clinical staff and faculty of speech-language pathologists, an audiologist, support staff, and student clinicians. Faculty and clinical staff have a variety of expertise and experience in communication sciences, speech-language development, and disorders. Assessment and therapy services are available for children and adults in the areas of speech, language, apraxia, auditory processing, aural rehabilitation, voice, fluency, aphasia, cognition, swallowing, augmentative communication and hearing services (including hearing evaluations and hearing aids). The Stroke/Head Injury Support Group meets 2 times monthly during the academic year.
