Provides audiology and speech language pathology, including diagnostic and remedial services in speech, language, and hearing disorders. Services available for articulation, language, voice, aphasia, head trauma, accent, and hearing disorders. Diagnostic evaluation is required before therapy. Hearing screening and evaluation (including auditory processing) available by appointment.

Instruction is language based, and information is presented by voice, sign, pictures, music, and/or using concrete objects. Infants and toddlers have the opportunity, as appropriate, to participate in "special" classes such as music and dance, plus weekly field trips into the community.
Additionally, home visits are scheduled at least once a week with a NYS Certified Teacher of the Deaf to educate family members on communication and other interactive strategies to use at home.
Sign language classes and other support services are available to families through the Parent Center.

Faculty and clinical staff have a variety of expertise and experience in communication sciences, speech-language development, and disorders. Assessment and therapy services are available for children and adults in the areas of speech, language, apraxia, auditory processing, aural rehabilitation, voice, fluency, aphasia, cognition, swallowing, augmentative communication and hearing (hearing evaluations, hearing aids, balance testing).
The Stroke/Head Injury Support Group meets 2 times monthly during the academic year.
