Provides daytime activities for individuals who are developmentally disabled. Individuals need not be visually impaired. Provides behavioral and educational consultation and support to individuals, families, and professionals based upon them principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our consultation services and trainings are designed to teach those who support individuals with autism and other special needs (school and agency personnel, family members/caregivers, community members) by providing effective education, training, and support within the frameworks of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Our Autism Supportive Environment program provides training and assistance to businesses and community organizations in designing environments which are more supportive for individuals with autism and other special needs and their families/caregivers.

Operates residential and day programs, and Medicaid service programs serving adults with developmental disabilities. The program's goal is for each person to function at the highest level possible in the least restrictive setting. Residential programs include, Community residences (CR), Individual Residential Alternatives (IRA) and Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF) in Somers, Yorktown, Pleasantville and Ossining.

Provides a structured treatment program for adults with moderate to severe developmental or physical disabilities. Focus is on both therapeutic and life skills development to bring about as much independence as possible. Services include speech, occupational and physical therapy, assistive technology and adaptive equipment training, social work and nursing services, behavior modification, daily living skills, socialization, life skills, recreation and more. In-home training is also available.

Provides day habilitation services to individuals ages 21 and older with moderate, severe or profound levels of intellectual developmental disabilities. The choice of homes includes apartment programs designed for individuals seeking greater independence and privacy. Also available is Individual Residential Alternatives (IRA) offering 24-hour support to individuals seeking group living and personalized assistance. There is also At Home Residential Habilitation services for those who live with their families but may require or request personal assistance, training or guidance within their own home.

Offers a comprehensive day habilitation program for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities to engage in recreational and volunteer activities which offers exercise, recreation, library time, volunteer work, developing and enhancing socialization, safety skills, nutrition awareness and community integration. Also provides community habilitation where trained staff go to an individuals home to work on daily activity and other necessary skills to build as much independence as possible.

Provides an at-home habilitation program for children or adults with autism and focuses on daily living skills and therapy-related activities. Also offers at home respite care for families and caregivers of an autistic child or adult that needs supervision.

Offers at home support to children and adults with developmental disabilities and autism. Provides one-on-one trained staff to assist individuals with skill development in activities of daily living, community integration and travel training.

Programming is done either in the home or in the community or both, again based upon the need of the individual and the desires of the family. The individual and/or the family is involved in the hiring of staff members who then work directly with that person, whether child or adult, working on those goals that have been identified as valuable in the ISP. The amount of hours this programming entails is agreed upon during initial meetings with the MSC and the family as approved by OMRDD.

Assists men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities live in their communities by providing residential services in 11 family-like residences with five to twelve residents. Provides long-term living arrangements that have the necessary supervision and structure including instruction in everyday tasks like doing laundry and cooking, coping with upsetting situations, conflicts with friends and family, and planning leisure time and activities.
