Supports homeless pregnant and/or parenting young people between the ages of 16 and 26, and occasionally their dependent children, based on application and need. Housing and services are provided for up to 18 months. The program offers an intensive array of services to meet the short and longer-term needs of pregnant and parenting women. Program goals are to educate young people about parenting skills as well as child development, family budgeting, education, health and nutrition, and other skills to promote their long-term economic independence and ensure the well-being of their children.

Serves as a transitional setting preparing young parents to move to the Mother/Baby Supervised Independent Living Program or other less restrictive level of care. Assists youth in the development of parenting and independent living skills.

Provides maternity support services by seeing to the physical, social and emotional health of young, single women facing motherhood without adequate resources. Offers housing and supportive services for up to 10 pregnant and/or parenting young women and their children. Emphasis is placed on preparing the girls for the challenges of working and parenting.

Offers shelter program and residence in Sayville for homeless females ages 18-24 who are pregnant/parenting and their children. Counseling and referral services for youth and families in crisis. While in the program, residents receive childcare on site while they continue their education or attend school.

Offers a sheltered atmosphere and stable environment by which residents can be nurtured and encouraged to obtain education and training. Stresses responsibility, alleviates feelings of isolation, teaches parenting and child care skills and offers support. Strives to ensure employment and independent financial stability.
