Classes for expectant parents and their support persons on such topics: nutrition, breastfeeding breathing and relaxation techniques for labor, coach's role care and characteristics of newborns, infant safety, parenting skills postpartum issues tours of labor and delivery rooms, birthing rooms and maternity suites

The Cohoes Family Care MOMS Program is an educational program for pregnant women. Provided are pregnancy tests, assistance in completing Medicaid applications, access to prenatal and primary care, free childbirth and breastfeeding education, along with pregnancy and infant care education Also provided are referrals to community agencies as appropriate, such as WIC or the local Department of Health. Crisis counseling on issues such as domestic violence, child abuse and mental health issues is also provided.

Provides obstetric and gynecological services for women regarding family planning, menopause, pregnancy, and other concerns.

Provides breastfeeding support groups for mothers and expectant mothers in Oswego County. Participants can connect with other breastfeeding mothers, nurse health-educators, and lactation counselors.
