All Temporary Assistance, Medicaid-only and SSI-Medicaid clients, may choose from five managed care plans to receive the complete menu of Medicaid Benefits. There are no costs, no caps, and no co-payments. Each member has his/her own physician or pediatrician-OB/GYN, who will coordinate all their health needs. Call New York Medicaid Choice at 1-800-505-5678 to receive a packet of informative brochures on each plan and an enrollment form.

The Independent Consumer Advocacy Network (ICAN) is an independent, conflict-free entity providing Individuals free assistance in accessing care, filing grievances, appealing adverse decisions, and understanding and exercising rights and responsibilities. There are 60 physical locations throughout NYS for in-person assistance, a call center (1-844-614-8800) for the entire state, and a website icannys.org. ICAN currently serves MLTC plan enrollees and mainstream Medicaid managed care enrollees who receive long term care. Call for detailed information.
