Oversees 12 acres of park that include Softball fields, Little League fields, Tennis courts, Playground, All Children's Playground, picnic area, Handball Courts, Basketball Court, Skateboard Park, and Soccer/Football fields. Offers recreational programs for all ages including sports, dance, instructional, arts and crafts, bus trips, fitness and exercise and other activities. Programs change seasonally. CPR TRAINING | MOUNT SINAI SOUTH NASSAU

Offers the lifesaving techniques of CPR. Mount Sinai South Nassau is an American Heart Association-designated Community Training Center. Classes are available in: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Renewal courses. These classes are held regularly at the hospital. In addition: Infant CPR and Safety: This 2.5-hour class covers CPR techniques for infants, focusing on choking episodes, safe sleep positions, infant safety, and products. Discussion of burn care, poison control, and when to call 911 is offered through the Mount Sinai Parenting Center. Call for information and to register for classes offered.

TESTING AND MOBILE OUTREACH | COMMUNITY CENTER

Offers at-risk Long Island residents in targeted Nassau and Suffolk County communities a variety of outreach services including FREE rapid HIV/HCV testing and counseling, fast tracking into substance abuse treatment, Comprehensive Risk Counseling Services (CRCS), distribution of condoms and referrals to primary health care, mental health, case management and other supportive services.
