To stay at Hope Lodge, a referral request from a cancer healthcare provider or social worker in advance of stay. Cancer Survivors Network (csn.cancer.org): Free online community created by and for people with cancer and their families. Services include discussion boards, chat rooms, and personal web space to tell your story. * Provides referrals to smoking cessation programs.

Provides complimentary hair replacement systems to any eligible child up to 18 yrs who has lost hair as a result of chemotherapy, radiation treatments, alopecia, burns or other medical circumstances.Accepts hair donations. Hair must be minimum of 12" in length, clean, dry, secured with rubber bands in either ponytail or braid, wrapped or sealed in a Ziploc bag, and mailed to Wigs for Kids. Please enclose name of donor, address, phone number and email address for acknowledgement purposes. Please consider a monetary donation to help cover cost of processing the hair.

Callers are provided with information and access to two specialized programs: Wig Clinic - Women diagnosed with any type of cancer who are receiving chemotherapy are eligible to receive a free wig. CancerCare provides new and gently used wigs in a variety of lengths, colors and styles. Both in-person (COVID vaccination required) and virtual appointments are offered. During an in-person, 30-minute fitting, women have the opportunity to try on different wigs. Basic wig care is discussed. Breast Prosthesis Clinic Women with breast cancer who have had a mastectomy are eligible to receive mastectomy supplies free of charge. During an individual 30-minute fitting, women can try on mastectomy bras and breast prostheses with assistance from a trained fitter. Two mastectomy bras and a breast prosthesis are provided free of charge. It is recommended that clients wait at least six weeks post-surgery to allow for proper healing.
