On campus university outpatient clinic with dedicated clinical staff and faculty of speech-language pathologists, an audiologist, support staff, and student clinicians. Faculty and clinical staff have a variety of expertise and experience in communication sciences, speech-language development, and disorders. Assessment and therapy services are available for children and adults in the areas of speech, language, apraxia, auditory processing, aural rehabilitation, voice, fluency, aphasia, cognition, swallowing, augmentative communication and hearing services (including hearing evaluations and hearing aids). The Stroke/Head Injury Support Group meets 2 times monthly during the academic year.

People having trouble affording hearing aids can call to speak to a counselor about programs to find quality low-cost hearing aids. A free hearing test can be done over the phone, and counselors may include resources such as donated or reconditioned hearing aids, where available.

* Offers medical equipment loans such as: Hospital beds, canes, commodes, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, ramps and shower chairs. Will purchase eyeglasses or hearing aids on special needs basis.

* Operates a residential and training facility. * Supports youths and adults who are deaf/blind, their families and the professionals who serve them on a national basis.* Provides equipment to aid people who are blind, deaf, hearing and visually impaired.

Provides assistance to children from birth to 21 years of age who have (or may have) a serious or chronic physical, developmental, behavioral, or emotional condition in locating a physician or other health care provider and may also provide assistance in obtaining insurance and/or other programs that help to cover health care costs. Supportive measures as well as medical information may be provided.
