Satellite clinic located inside the Dale Association building, offering services once per month. Provides the services of a Certified Low Vision Optometrist for individuals with decreasing vision. A low vision evaluation differs from the routine eye exam provided by an ophthalmologist in that it works with patients to maximize their remaining functional vision through the use of optical devices. This may include special lenses, magnifiers, telescopes, lighting, and/or glare reduction. When an individual is experiencing difficulty with tasks or things they enjoy doing due to vision loss, a low vision evaluation may be beneficial.

Strives to meet the needs of people with HIV/AIDS through services from on-staff physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, nurses, case managers, nutritional consultants, drug counselors, and mental health counselors as well as through partnerships with a myriad of community agencies. Comprehensive Services - HIV Medical Care: On-staff physicians and nurse practitioners are highly trained and experienced and many are faculty at the State University of New York at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. - Primary Care: Each medical provider is also able to address the primary care needs of patients. Referrals for specialty services can be made, and most can be provided on site. - Women's HIV Services: YOU Center provides these services onsite to meet women's gynecological needs including prenatal care, with an additional focus on preventing transmission to the baby. HIV positive women are referred for appropriate and comprehensive obstetric care upon pregnancy toward safe and healthy delivery. - Adherence Pharmacology: Through a partnership with the University at Buffalo's School of Pharmacology, highly trained pharmacists are on site to offer education to providers and patients regarding disease process, treatment options, and ongoing individualized medication management. - Case Management Services: Each patient has the opportunity to meet with a medical case manager who is able to assist them with benefit management and support around their diagnosis, promoting their ongoing access to medical care. Referrals are provided to community agencies and programs as defined by the patient's need. - Rural Care Initiative: Provides HIV-infected individuals in the rural communities of Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Chautauqua Counties with access to high quality medical treatment, case management services and support services without requiring them to travel great distances. - Research Initiatives: Research staff conduct projects that examine current trends in HIV care and focus on examining the efficacy of current medical interventions, containing costs, and looking at how a person's genetics affect their medical progress. - HIV Testing: Offers free diagnostic testing service on a walk-in basis during regular business hours. Testing is also offered throughout the facility. Additionally, staff members provide community-based testing, service needs assessment, and referral linkage in high risk areas and at many community events. - Referral Basis: Patients can be referred for chemical dependency and mental health services, including psychiatric and neuropsychiatric evaluations. - Clinical Education Initiative: Offers relevant up-to-date education and training on HIV/AIDS and other related topics to community providers throughout WNY, often available for on-site training sessions tailored to meet the needs of organizations. Mini-Residency Program offers introductory and advanced clinical training for Community and Correctional Health Care Providers. Phone consultation with an HIV specialist is available 24/7 to respond to providers' needs for general clinical consultation and for the management of post exposure prophylaxis.

Provides evaluation and treatment for active tuberculosis cases, follow-up evaluation and testing for contacts, preventive treatment when required, TB skin testing, and Quantiferon blood testing. Appointments are required.

Serves all populations with special focus on the medically under-insured, uninsured, and those experiencing homelessness. Also provides onsite lab, ultrasound, STD testing, COVID-19 testing and vaccines, health education/groups, blood pressure screening, and free walk-in pregnancy testing. Provides transportation assistance to help clients get to appointments and referral assistance. Team specializes in care for youth and young adults who are living with HIV or at risk for HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), who are experiencing homelessness, mental health and/or substance use. Also provides comprehensive and supportive service for youth who identify LGBTQ.

Provides education and support in areas of disease and injury prevention. Areas may include nutrition, dental health in children, STDs, worksite wellness, HIV/AIDS, cancer screening and education, teen pregnancy, family planning, lead poisoning prevention, physical activity, communicable and chronic diseases, rabies control, tobacco use prevention and cessation, and car seat safety.

Offers programs designed to help individuals achieve healthier lifestyles, including fitness/exercise, nutrition counseling, stress management, spiritual health, smoking cessation, and self-help. Provides public health and environmental laboratory services to local health departments, hospitals, medical care providers, managed care organizations, and residents throughout Western New York. Serves as the primary provider of laboratory testing for the Erie County Department of Health (ECDOH) and other local health departments' public health and environmental activities. Provides rapid test result turn-around time and offers a competitive fee schedule. Customized testing is negotiable and ECPHL staff are available for consultation.
