Provides a full complement of audiological evaluation and consultation services that is available to support the education of students with hearing loss, either in-district or in an Eastern Suffolk BOCES setting. In addition to full audiological evaluations, follow-up, parent and staff training, Eastern Suffolk BOCES offers a full spectrum of services to support the use of Frequency Modulation (FM) auditory trainers, including needs assessment evaluations, selection and ordering, equipment adjustments, summer maintenance, ear molds, training workshops, and review of district equipment.

Offers a specialized clinic for AIDS/HIV, services include HIV testing and counseling, primary care and support, along with awareness and prevention information to the public.

Provides supportive services for people returning from jail or prison who have chronic health problems, such as AIDS/HIV, addiction or other infectious diseases. Offers health education, case management, on-site medical testing, and offering assistance in finding other benefits, housing and health care.

Allows clients to work on individual goals within a group setting. Communication and social interaction skills are bolstered through a variety of recreational and learning activities that are tailored to individuals tastes and needs. A prevocational program option is offered that targets those skills needed to function more independently.

HCBS assists youth with a serious social, emotional and/or behavioral challenge to remain at home by offering an array of community based services to prevent placement in inpatient levels of care or Residential Treatment Facilities. Services provided would enable a child already in such a placement to be discharged more quickly. Services offered: Planned Respite services for families and caregivers focused on enhancing their ability to support the child's mental health needs. Caregiver family support.

Provides an outpatient 10 week (3 visits per week, two hours per visit) program offering diagnosis, exercise therapy and patient education for people with respiratory disabilities. Services include medical evaluation and follow up by Board Certified Pulmonary Physicians,complete pulmonary function studies including supervised cardiac-monitored exercise modalities.

A Social Worker is onsite. PCAP and Title X Family Planning Programs (FPEP and FPBP) are available. Counseling is an integral part of Planned Parenthood of Nassau County's patient care.
