Rockland Conservation and Service Corps is comprised of several programs. Our Summer Conservation Corps is an outdoor service corps for people ages 18 to 25 in which individuals earn a $2,100 living stipend for 350 hours of service from June to August completing environmentally themed local service projects. Rockland Community Emergency Responders Team (RCERT) is a team of volunteers dedicated to preparing for, responding to and recovering from natural and man-made disasters in Rockland. Volunteers receive training from professionals from the Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services. The Trail Guide Program trains volunteer guides to lead people on guided walks of various difficulty levels through village, town, county and state parks throughout the region.

The Discovery Program is an outreach program which consists of an introductory slide show and hands on activities, an all day field trip and a follow-up visit with hands-on activities concerning pollution. Citizen action information of a political and environmental nature is also included. This program can be presented at your site, or at riverfront parks throughout the valley.
