During the school year, a four-day-a-week Homework Help program for grades K-12 is made possible through the efforts of 35 volunteers, who provide after-school tutoring and homework assistance.

The Power Hour Program is a comprehensive homework help and tutoring program which is designed to raise the academic proficiency of Club members age 6-12. The Power Hour Program has proven beneficial to the educational success of youth, as it is a chance to develop positive study skills and increase self worth by obtaining better grades at school.

Provides Hofstra University student volunteer mentors to students age 7 - 14 who are academically, socially or emotionally at risk. Training and supervision of mentors is provided by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island. Assistance with homework, opportunities to develop relationships with college students and participate in activities are integral parts of the program.
