During the school year, a four-day-a-week Homework Help program for grades K-12 is made possible through the efforts of 35 volunteers, who provide after-school tutoring and homework assistance.

* Provides an after-school program including: Recreation activities. Group activities. Homework help/tutoring. Socialization. Bible-based discussions. Events.

Provides an environment within which participants can be involved in meaningful activities that allow them to grow and learn, pursue personal goals and interests, gain greater independence and make a contribution to their community. Consumers participate in a variety of activities each of which meets specific goals for the individual. Volunteer opportunities across the Capital Region often leading to paid jobs.

Provides a safe space for for LGBTQ youth to gather and receive support from caring adults through case management services, HIV, STD and Hepatitis C testing, mental health assessments, referrals for LGBTQ affirming clinical services, and referrals to LGBTQ affirming health and human service providers. Offers after school programming and support groups for youth, parents and families.

Provides a free after school program for children and youth with the Hudson City and Catskill School Districts during the academic school year, including structured activities, and homework help.

Field trip opportunities. Daily snack and meal included with membership.

Workshop and Certification offerings include:Carlisle Hills Community Center Lab - Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Resume Skills, Online Job Search and Applications, Career and Workplace Skills and ExplorationBroome County Lab (at Exchange St.) - Python, On-line Security, Using Excel

Offers community projects, informal education, after-school tutoring, computer classes, teen groups, drug awareness and substance abuse prevention programs, health and physical education, and youth employment programs, including job counseling and placement.

* Provides basic literacy instruction for adults that assists individuals become independent readers and writers. * Provides English as a second language for adults who are new speakers of English. * Provides free tutoring for adults in Literacy, Math, High School Equivalency and Citizenship. Tutoring is free and confidential.

Provides homework help and test preparation. Students also work on developing math and reading skills and work on computer/internet projects.

Open to children ages 4-12 during non-school hours; provides adult supervision and is open most school holidays including early release days and snow days. Activities include homework help, arts and crafts, field trips, special events, and use of a billiards room, game room, lounge and computer lab. Children ages 4-6 participate in the Funland Program. JYC may be available through the Ken-Ton Transportation Department. Request form required for alternate transportation.

A non-profit agency providing free adult education and community resources in basic reading, writing, math, digital literacy/computer skills, English instruction, GED prep, ESOL and civics, workforce readiness, vocational training with certifications, and more. Classes and tutoring services are provided by trained volunteers and agency staff. Also provides jail transition services to assist with housing, public assistance, mental health and substance abuse, and other pertinent issues. ##REENTRY##

Provides educational, recreational, and self-sufficiency programming for residents and the nearby community. Facility has a 226-seat theater, banquet hall, gymnasium, locker room, multi-purpose rooms, commercial kitchen, library, and computer training lab. Programs include: ATTAIN Lab computer classes including Microsoft Office, fundamentals of email and the internet, interview skills, resume building, employment counseling, Healthy Cooking Classes, After School Program, Kids Cafe provides after school meals for children and youth in grades K-12 which runs from September - June, "Livin' Large" tutorial program, mentoring program, youth leadership program, "Let's Talk" Teen Girls Program, and many other social, educational, and recreational activities. Offers a Thanksgiving dinner, take-out only. #afterschool
