Open to children ages 4-12 during non-school hours; provides adult supervision and is open most school holidays including early release days and snow days. Activities include homework help, arts and crafts, field trips, special events, and use of a billiards room, game room, lounge and computer lab. Children ages 4-6 participate in the Funland Program. JYC may be available through the Ken-Ton Transportation Department. Request form required for alternate transportation.

The after school program offers homework assistance, arts and crafts workshops, journal writing and monthly field trips. The 6 week summer camp program is a day camp which include barbeques, art and crafts, trips to amusement parks, movies, and theaters, with an emphasis on art, sports, and education. The 6-8 week Saturday S.T.E.A.M. Academy takes place each Fall.
Offers a program that focuses on African American and Hispanic elementary school boys with emphasis on academic enrichment, cultural diversity, health and nutrition, conflict resolution training and fun recreational activities.

Offers an afterschool tutoring program designed to help 7-10 year old children learn to read, develop socially, emotionally and spiritually, and build self-esteem. Designed to foster student growth and academic success. Enrichment services are provided as early as grade 6, through high school graduation and transition to college and/or the workforce. Hofstra University and partner schools offer a coordination of enrichment services on campus and at school sites. Partner schools provide counseling, mentoring, tutoring, goal-setting, college tours, career exploration, service learning and more, while Hofstra University offers academic support through the Saturday Scholars Academy, career exploration through the Summer Scholars Academy and mentoring through the Transition to High School Program. Active participants also have the opportunity to attend the annual New York State Education Department Empire Leadership Summit. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend workshops, events and join Parent Involvement in Education (PIE), a parent committee that helps facilitate student success. Represents a cooperative effort between the Suffolk County Community College and the Longwood Central School District, governmental agencies and business and industry to provide a unique, comprehensive and supportive environment for students for students who may be at risk of dropping out of school. LPP is funded by a grant from the New York State Education Department. The Liberty Partnerships Program serves those students in grades 7-12 who may not be reaching their academic potential by providing academic services that will improve their ability to complete high school and successfully enter postsecondary education or the workforce. LPP students who are juniors and seniors are also eligible to enroll in a two-semester program that leads successful students to one college credit upon completion. This offering contains a one-semester non-credit course that focuses on reading, writing, study skills, critical thinking and computer skills. The second semester course exposes students to topics of interest to college students and enhances their basic research skills. Additional credit-bearing courses are offered to students who successfully complete this sequence. LPP Program Services include: College preparatory coursework; Suffolk County Community College Seminar (leads to 1.0 college credits); LPP club and newsletter; Team building experiences; Cultural enrichment activities and field trips; Counseling; Tutoring and college placement test; ACT/SAT preparation classes; Regents review sessions; Student and parent leadership sessions and Workforce preparation which includes visits to and internships with business, industry and local colleges.
