Provides a safe environment for young people to focus on academic success, healthy lifestyles and good character/citizenship. Members rotate every 45 minutes through each area (homework room, gym/outdoors, social games, dining area, etc.). Services include dinner each evening, homework help, daily education and recreational activities.

Provides enrichment programming, tutoring, and violence prevention training for students at PSLA High School.

Provides migrant students in Jefferson, Lewis, Oswego, and Wayne counties with educational and support services including in-school and/or in-home tutoring, summer tutoring, educational field trips, family literacy, preschool education, outreach, interpretation and advocacy.

Offers on-site English as a Second Language (ESL) classes in migrant labor camps and for out-of school youth ages 16 to 21 years.

Provides students in grades 7th through 12th with activities designed to promote career awareness, explore post-secondary options, perform community service and develop leadership skills.

Provides an alcohol and drug free supervised location for community youth to receive additional help with school work and engage in recreational activities.

Matches trained volunteers with adults wishing to improve their basic literacy skills in including reading, writing, and math as well as offering a workspace for math and computer classes. Provides literacy assessment, peer tutoring network, a family literacy initiative, and tutoring in English for speakers of other languages.

Pro Action SACC Licensed Care, provides a safe after school programming for Kindergarten-3rd grade, such as homework assistance social and recreational activities. After School healthy snacks are provided.

Provides safe after school programming for 4th - 12th grades, including youth development programs during out of school hours, homework assistance, career exploration, community service, crisis intervention, and social and recreational activities. Dinner and snack are provided at no charge.

Provides social youth enrichment programming including arts, crafts, games, homework assistance, and community service projects. Snacks and dinner available for participating youth.

The Power Hour Program is a comprehensive homework help and tutoring program which is designed to raise the academic proficiency of Club members age 6-12. The Power Hour Program has proven beneficial to the educational success of youth, as it is a chance to develop positive study skills and increase self worth by obtaining better grades at school.

The work readiness program through CORE pairs individuals with staff who can help strengthen their resume with vocational classes, certifications, career exploration, resume preparation, and mock interviews.

Provides programming focused on academic enrichment, such as homework help and tutoring, school engagement, dropout prevention, career exploration, and intensive intervention and case management.

* Provides basic literacy and English as a second language and one-on-one tutoring instruction for adults. Tutoring is held in resource room at Mercy Bridges, or public places such as libraries, coffee shops, apartment community rooms, etc.

Provides women either residing at the YWCA-GCR or in the community, with access to a variety of educational services and resources. Offers referrals to GED prep classes, provide tutoring and resources to low level learners and provide assistance to anyone seeking to enter higher education or in need of support when faced with student loan defaults. Provides case management together with 360 Degrees of Support.

Provides an after-school program offering academic and recreational activities for youth ages 10 to 18 years. Emphasizes tutoring in Math, English, and Science for youth who have limited English proficiency and who are at-risk of failing in school. Offers free transportation to students.

Provides integrated recreational opportunities, tutoring, homework assistance, and other supports to refugee children.

During the school year, a four-day-a-week Homework Help program for grades K-12 is made possible through the efforts of 35 volunteers, who provide after-school tutoring and homework assistance.

Provides after-school services to children with developmental disabilities who reside in the Scotia-Glenville Central School District. Offers activities such as arts and crafts, board games, homework assistance, small and large group recreational activities and games, and social-behavioral skill training, and snacks.

Offers youth development opportunities, prevocational career exploration, recreational and creative arts acitivities, academic assistance, and life skills activities in a therapeutic after-school setting to youth ages 12 to 19 years who are experiencing social, emotional, and/or behavior challenges. Participants are offered transportation to and from the program.

Provides a safe space for for LGBTQ youth to gather and receive support from caring adults through case management services, HIV, STD and Hepatitis C testing, mental health assessments, referrals for LGBTQ affirming clinical services, and referrals to LGBTQ affirming health and human service providers. Offers after school programming and support groups for youth, parents and families.
