Provides scholarships for undergraduate, graduate, and law to students who are spouses, partners, sons and daughters of any victim of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and Flight 93 in Pennsylvania. Membership is restricted to the combat wounded, but MOPH provides support to all veterans and their dependents throughout the United States. Scholarships are awarded through colleges that offer accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and/or the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York and/or the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Programs (CACREP).

Provides financial support to college students in Western New York in the form of specialized loans, grants, and/or scholarships. Funds are obtained through proceeds from an annual book sale and generous donors. Funds include several named awards.

Provides financial assistance for children and parents who want to participate in specialized programs to improve communication and independence, and need help. Also provides college scholarship deaf students who want to attend college.

Provides five scholarships for dependents of the firefighters, police officers, port authority officers and emergency medical services personnel who lost their lives responding to the World Trade Center terrorist attacks. The scholarships will provide full tuition, room and board at New York University

CFES Brilliant Pathways partners with hundreds of colleges, school districts and corporations. What we can do: Introduce students to college and career possibilities. Provide needed resources to educators, such as professional development, support and evaluation, and workshops. Help students and families demystify the path to college.

Provides youth, who are adopted and in foster care ages 8 to 21 educational and enrichment opportunities through the help of one-on-one mentors.

Offers law students child advocacy fellowships, and externships at area social service agencies, Nassau County courts and legal aid organizations. Encourages law students to pursue careers in child and family advocacy.
