Summer Youth Employment & Training Program (SYETP) is a summer academic and career development program. Youth are exposed to an enriching learning environment that includes academic development, career/vocational focus, and exploration/recreational activities. Participants 14 to 18 have the opportunity to participate in job shadowing/summer internships and earn a stipend for their participation.

The Merakey Center for Hope is a youth drop-in center for young people ages 11-21 who live in the city of Newburgh, NY. This program is available after school and offers many workshops, including ceramics, music, dance, photography, creative writing, and more.

Provides services for children, youth, adults and seniors, such as drinking driver program, educational and counseling services, Nursing Home Transition and Diversion Program (NHTD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), as well as a variety of services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Provides a community mental health program designed to assist people with psychiatric conditions with choosing, getting and keeping educational goals. Services are provided in individual counseling sessions in the office or directly on campus. Support is provided to individuals seeking to get a GED, attend vocational training, or attend college.

Designed to foster student growth and academic success. Enrichment services are provided as early as grade 6, through high school graduation and transition to college and/or the workforce. Hofstra University and partner schools offer a coordination of enrichment services on campus and at school sites. Partner schools provide counseling, mentoring, tutoring, goal-setting, college tours, career exploration, service learning and more, while Hofstra University offers academic support through the Saturday Scholars Academy, career exploration through the Summer Scholars Academy and mentoring through the Transition to High School Program. Active participants also have the opportunity to attend the annual New York State Education Department Empire Leadership Summit. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend workshops, events and join Parent Involvement in Education (PIE), a parent committee that helps facilitate student success. The Rockland Community College Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP) is a dropout prevention and college access program that is funded by the New York State Education Department. RCC LPP serves 340 historically excluded students (grades 7-12) in the East Ramapo, North Rockland and Nyack school districts. Rockland Community College LPP is committed to the belief that all students can learn and should have equal access to resources.
