* Provides residential programming Sunday-Thursday for students who reside more than a 50-mile radius from the school. Works in collaboration with outside agencies including the NYS Commission for the Blind. Students receive both Regents based classroom instruction and alternate education based on cognitive, social, and developmental abilities, for children and youth who are legally blind and who have at least one additional disability.

New York State Education Department Approved Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are designed to provide a career pathway for students while satisfying many of the requirements for a Regents High School Diploma. Students learn, reinforce, and apply academic skills such as ELA, Math, and Science in the context of their CTE program while they prepare for further study at the post-secondary level or direct entry into the workforce after high school. Students participate in internships and may earn valuable industry certifications and/or licenses. The curriculum is assessed against nationally recognized industry standards and meets the NYS Learning Standards. Evening and day courses also offered for adults.

Provides adult GED program, GRASP home study program, adult basic education, life management program, and English as a Second Language. Over 20 vocational training programs are available, including welding, food services, electrical trades, etc. TASC Preparation classes available in Batavia, Leicester, Genesee County Jail, Livingston County Jail, and Wyoming County Jail. Works with business and agencies to tailor classes.

Sponsors workshops, seminars, and non-credit courses for community members. Offers vocational education and workforce training. Community members and alumni are welcome. Summer workshops offered for middle and high school students.

Serves as a site for various providers offering classes for those wishing to further their education or get better jobs. Offers classes preparing students for jobs in fields such as Healthcare, Information Technology, and Construction Trades. Also offers test prep and tutoring in basic math and basic English.

Provides academic, vocational, and career services to Western New York residents. Students enrolling at UBEOC can select from over 20 programs and services offered days, evenings and some weekends. In addition to academic and vocational programs, UBEOC also offers specialized learning community programs like ATTAIN (Advanced Technology Training and Information Networking). The ATTAIN lab is an open computer lab offering academic, occupational, and employability courses through technology. Vocational rehabilitation provides HSED (formerly GED), career readiness workshops, vocational and classroom training, construction technology program, and work experience services for members of the Seneca Nation of Indians and other federally recognized Nations residing 20 miles of all Seneca Nation territories who have a documented disability. Tribal 477 provides HSED (formerly GED), training, career readiness workshops, vocational and classroom training, construction technology program, and work experience services for members of the Seneca Nation of Indians and other federally recognized Nations (and children of an enrolled Seneca father) residing 25 miles of the Cattaraugus, Allegany and Oil Springs territories.
