Wildwood School is a private, not-for-profit day program for students between the ages of 3 to 21 with neurological impairments, complex learning disabilities, autism and other neurologically-based developmental disorders.
Offers a residential program for children with autism spectrum disorder ,and/or multiple disabilities to include autism that incorporates Applied Behavioral Analysis teaching methods and positive behavior supports. Programming focuses on life skills recreation and leisure skills, household living; with opportunities for participation in Special Olympics Events. Housing placement is based on age and level of functioning. Family outings day and home visits are encouraged.

Provides a New York State approved, day school program serving toddlers, preschool, and elementary aged students with developmental disabilities or autism, and a wide range of intellectual ability and need. This program is committed to preparing children, whenever possible, to return to a less restrictive educational environment. As a child shows improved ability to function successfully they can participate in an integration program to provide experiences with more typical children or in a less restrictive educational setting. Also extends school for six weeks during the summer to provide year round comprehensive instruction and minimize student regression.
Provides a NYSED approved article 81 residential school for youth ages 5-21 years old. Includes a 12 month program with a 6:1:3 ratio as well as speech, occupational therapy, physical therapy and counseling. New York State certified special education school that was created to accommodate the needs of the children and adolescents with developmental disabilities who reside at The Robert J. McMahon Children’s Center in Nassau County, Long Island. Small class sizes and student-centered instruction tailor each student’s education to his/her individual needs and abilities.
