Provides services to disabled students ages 3 to 21 years old.

Provides educational programs including vocational training, physical therapy, occupational therapy, physical education, speech/language services, psychological services, family services, nursing services, community integration and transitional planning for students with autism, intellectual disabilities, multiple handicaps, or developmental disabilities.

Center based school program providing: evaluations, individualized education, related services, family education, pre-vocational training, individual and group counseling, and play therapy. Related services include: physical, occupational and speech therapies, vision training, nursing, and assistive technology. Adapted physical evaluation, creative arts, and MOVE philosophy (Mobility Opportunities Via Education) are also available. Program offers an educational/therapeutic curriculum that provides individualized attention and intervention while facilitating communication skills, cognitive development and emphasizing individual abilities. UPC Suffolk's Children's Residential Program provides both educational and residential placement using a collaborative team approach.

Provides a school for legally blind and multiply disabled students. Offers day, five-day and seven-day ICF program options, OT, PT, speech, music and recreation therapies, O&M, APE, behavioral services and social work.

Provides after-school and weekend recreation and socialization program for children with special needs (K-Graduation). Activities include adaptive physical education and aquatics, arts and crafts, music and cooking. Programs are also available during school vacations. Also offers a special needs music school. Support Group for Siblings an Mommy and Me Programs. Summer camp available and Teen Programs, Social Skills Groups formed as needed.

Provides program classes, related services, itinerant services, and summer school classes for students with physical, behavioral, academic, and/or emotional disabilities.

Provides special education classes and services for students with disabilities. Programs are designed to meet the academic, social, physical, and emotional needs of students to prepare them to live independently, pursue meaningful careers, and participate in their community upon graduation.

Offers evaluations and services for preschoolers with suspected or confirmed disabilities. Services available in special education, individual, family and group counseling/workshops, play therapy, occupational/physical therapy, speech and language therapy, adapted physical education, MOVE philosophy (Mobility Opportunities Via Education), augmentative communication, education for the visually impaired and behavior management. These services can be provided in the center or in the child's home.

A decision-making committee to determine eligibility and the appropriate level of services for preschool children aged 3-5. The CPSE is a multidisciplinary team established to conduct meetings to develop, review, or revise the Individual Education Program (IEP) of a student with a disability. The parent or legal guardian is included as a member of the committee.

Provides early intervention for children birth to five, including speech/language therapy, physical and occupational therapy, special education (self-contained and integrated classes), adapted physical education, computer education, play therapy and family counseling. Also offers a nursery school, Pre-K, day care and a special program for children with autism spectrum disorders. Call for more information.

Provides a Developmental Disabilities Program for residents of the East End. Activities include bowling, golf, dinner dances, day outings and bus trips.

Purpose is to maximize each child's strengths and minimize weaknesses, address every facet of child's development, and encourage and assist parental participation in child's development. Program includes evaluations and services for infants and toddlers individual and family counseling, speech and language therapy, occupational/physical therapies, and education for the visually impaired. Other services include family training, parent/child feeding group and feeding services. Home and center based therapies available.
