Provides an in-home school readiness program with twice weekly visits with the family, bringing a new book or toy for the child to keep and model for the parents' fun ways to help their child learn through play.

Early literacy, math, cognitive, and social-emotional skills are developed in an effort to decrease the preparation/achievement gap for children living in poverty and to start them on the path to school success.

Services are offered from pregnancy until their child reaches age five. Home visitors bring toys, books, activities, and information to stimulate your child's development. They also complete developmental screenings, monitoring your child's milestones, and offer referrals to community resources. Home visitors are certified by the Parents As Teachers National Center as Parent Educators and use the Parents as Teachers curriculum.
