Offers classes in the English Language, Foreign Languages, and American Sign Language. NCC's Language Center English Language Skills classes are specifically designed for non-Native English speakers. New English Language students or students who have not attended our English classes for one year or more should take the LC assessment test so we can place you into the correct class level. English Language classes are designed to meet different student needs. The core curriculum includes: Introduction to the English Language and English Language Skills, levels 1-6. In addition to our core classes, English language students may take elective classes like Pronunciation Skills, Personal Writing Skills, TOEFL Preparation or Conversation Skills. The Language Center is proud to offer a variety of foreign languages for study as well as American Sign Language. Foreign Language courses are taught to groups at different levels of mastery, guiding students in speaking, reading, writing, and listening to the language as well as in developing a familiarity with important customs, cultures, and traditions of the countries in which the languages are spoken. Provides after-school academic assistance designed to meet the specific needs of elementary school students from refugee families, with an emphasis on reading, writing, and speaking English. Offers one-on-one homework help and tutoring in reading and math, along with educational and recreational activities, field trips, and opportunities to socialize with friends. A project-based learning curriculum provides a structured atmosphere, allowing for positive enforcement of pro-social behaviors. Book clubs work at each student's ability level to increase their comfort with and love of reading. Also offers a 6-week summer program.
A non-profit agency providing free tutoring and educational services. Tutors can meet one on one or in a group. Provides tutoring in pre-GED, reading, writing, math, and ESL.

In addition to helping adult students prepare for the TASC exam and earn their High School Equivalency Diploma, the Adult and Community Education Department offers Adult Basic Education classes for students to improve their reading, writing, and math skills. Students work at their own pace with the help of a certified teacher. Career Counseling and Case Management is available to all students and classes are open to individuals 17 years of age or older regardless of residency. English as an Alternate Language and Citizenship programming are also offered at the main building and at an addendum site in the morning and evening.

Provides language support through practical, conversational English language instruction at accessible times and locations, including the Hope Refugee Drop-In Center and local libraries. Small learning groups are also hosted at students' homes, co-taught by a pair of volunteers. Classes take place multiple times a week and cover a number of conversational, English "life skills" topics identified by the students themselves. Citizenship and literacy classes are offered for individuals who cannot read and write in their first language or in English.
Provides speech, language, and hearing evaluation and treatment to children and adults. Also dispenses hearing aids. Special programs include ESL groups, aphasia therapy, intensive summer camp, and Tinnitus evaluation, treatment, and therapy.
