The program also includes family support. Serves all 9 school districts in Oswego County - applications for enrollment are accepted year round.

The program goal is to offer a wide range of social and educational experiences to help prepare children and families for a successful transition into kindergarten. Also offers home visitors to families of program participants and to families who do not have a Head Start within their school district. Visits are designed to strengthen family protective factors and encourage family resilience using supportive services, education on child development, offering community referrals, and supporting families with their goals.

Services also include nutritious meals, health screenings and services for children with disabilities. Limited transportation is available to participants of the Friendship and Wellsville centers.
