* Assists the Rochester City Court in administering and disposing of certain traffic infractions. Most traffic infractions in the City of Rochester will be handled by the RTVA. Some specific traffic infractions will be handled in Rochester City Court.

The Parking Violations Bureau is responsible for the enforcement of the City's parking regulations. The Parking Enforcement Officers are authorized to issue violations and write tickets on illegally parked cars and other code violations.

Handles appeals on criminal and traffic convictions from the District Court, County and Supreme Courts, and the Court of Appeals. Appealable issues are remitted back to the trial level for a lower court review.
