Representation is provided by upper-level law students working under the close supervision of experienced lawyers who are clinical professors. There is no charge for clinic representation. However, the clinics have limited resources and cannot take every case, no matter how deserving. Clinic staff members meet with potential clients by appointment only. ** Note: Have callers who need after hours shelter assistance to go DIRECTLY to Village of Monticello Police Department IF they are in that area; if they do NOT have transportation to the village, have callers contact the Village's police department for further details. Outside of area they are to contact the Sullivan County Police Department to make arrangements and find out details for after-hours shelters.
