Provides a service, in collaboration with 2 other agencies (My Sisters' Place and Westchester Hispanic Coalition) to offer free legal services for poverty level residents or those who are victims of domestic violence for consumer disputes, housing, education, benefits, domestic violence, orders of protection, custody, child support, family law, including citizenship applications, work authorizations or other immigration issues.

Provides language matched, client-driven case management, legal counseling, and referrals to community services. Clients have access to programs addressing financial education and home purchasing, as well as other Jericho Road programs. Offers 60-minute immigration consultations with a Department of Justice accredited representative. Consultations are by appointment only.

Provides temporary shelter and consultation on eligible legal information for individuals and families fleeing other countries, and are not US citizens, who are seeking asylum status in the United States and Canada. Provides access to Jericho Road programs and healthcare, referrals to community services, housing, shelter, food, and legal assistance. Families and individuals considering asylum in Canada may face significant risk if they proceed directly to the border without consulting an expert. Staff at Vive can help review eligibility and necessary documents to limit negative consequences.

Provides comprehensive immigration services as well as extended case representation for client's ongoing legal needs, including: naturalization and citizenship, adjustment of status (green cards), family re-unification, asylum, employment authorization, travel documents, temporary protected status, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), and removal defense. Program is committed to high-quality and full-scale immigration legal representation for refugee communities, as well as representing asylees, parolees, and other low-income immigrant populations throughout Western New York. The Buffalo Non-Detained Program provides representation to non-citizens in removal proceedings and representation before the United States Customs and Immigration Services (USCIS) so they may begin safe, independent lives in the Western New York. We also serve as the non-profit attorney representative on the WNY Human Trafficking Task Force along with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, in federal and local prosecutors, and anti-trafficking social services providers. Houses several projects, including a "public defender" style program for men detained at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility in Batavia and women detained by ICE in Allegany and Niagara County Jails.

Assist Irish immigrants in their transition to life in the USA by offering various services, such as legal/immigration referral and social, psychological and educational information.

Provides full deportation defense services for clients most at-risk of deportation. The Clinic defends clients in need of motions to reopen prior removal orders, facing false gang allegations, seeking release on bond, and victims of trafficking seeking relief. The clinic provides legal screenings for relief, responds to ICE raids, represents clients detained in ICE jails, litigates in immigration court (such as master calendar, bond, and individual hearings), administrative advocacy with USCIS and at asylum interviews, and appellate litigation before the Board of Immigration Appeals and in Federal Court. Also provide Impact litigation. We challenge policies and practices that harm the immigrant community on Long Island and in New York. In addition we provide Community advocacy. We advocate for human, civil, and constitutional rights for immigrant communities on Long Island and in New York through collaborations with legal service providers, legal trainings, professional development, legislative and administrative advocacy, and community organizing. Alamo provides information and referrals, for community resources, especially those needed by migrant or farm workers and the rural poor, including English classes and immigrant application assistance.

Providing free immigration law advice regarding DACA via personal online appointments for those interested in applying for the DACA program.

LAS provides free legal counseling and representation for low-income individuals who need assistance in civil cases, which includes, government benefits, unemployment insurance, disability, health care, housing, family law matters, consumer problems, children's legal issues and immigration matters.

Provides resettlement and post-resettlement services that help refugee and immigrant families integrate into their new communities. Offers citizenship classes, ESL classes, relocation moving assistance, employment placement services for newly arriving refugees, and case management to assist with obtaining immigration documents. Also provides a support group for refugees who are victims of domestic violence.

Provides nationwide assistance by telephone to customers calling from within the United States about immigration services and benefits. Available in English and Spanish.Customers can also submit an e-request, chat with an online virtual assistant, or check their case status through USCIS's website.
