Houses several projects, including the New York Immigrant Family Unity Program, which is an attempt to create a "public defender" style program for men detained at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility in Batavia.
Represents unaccompanied children, who must appear in Buffalo for removal proceedings. Also recruits, trains, and mentors pro bono lawyers to represent these children.

Special "T" visas or other forms of immigration relief are sought for these clients before an application is made for permanent residence. Works collaboratively with the International Institute of Buffalo to make sure clients' legal, social, and health care needs are met. Survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking are also represented, as they have several options under U.S. immigration law to normalize their status.
