Provides services to all victims and survivors of domestic violence, including victims and survivors of intimate partner violence and family violence. Operates a confidential shelter and offers extensive support services. Advocates for victims and survivors when interacting with law enforcement and prosecution as well as assist victims and survivors with law enforcement and prosecution. Services include advocacy, accompaniment, information and referral, support, and extensive safety planning. Provides therapy, which includes individual and group domestic violence education. Another service is the counseling, specifically designed for the unique circumstances that victims and survivors encounter. Offers The Law Project which provides consultation and representation on civil-legal matters to income-eligible victims, and survivors within the county.

COVID Response Legal Clinic: Student attorneys serve unmet access-to-justice needs of the community, helping individual and families who are facing unexpected legal matters due to the coronavirus. e-Law Center Clinic: Works with diverse companies who are confronting a variety of business challenges specific to startups and early stage high-growth ventures. Environmental Advocacy Clinic: Focuses on state, national, and international environmental policy issues that have a direct impact on Western New York, as well as national and international implications. Family Violence and Women's Rights Law: Focuses on attaining justice and safety for victims of intimate partner violence. A domestic violence program comprised of advocates and social workers located within the Erie County District Attorney's Office. Provides supportive counseling, resources, case management, and safety planning to survivors of Intimate Partner Violence. Specializes in providing advocacy within criminal courts and helping survivors review their options regardless of whether they have a criminal case. Free services are provided to anyone who identifies themselves as a victim of Domestic Violence. Services include BE SAFE Hotline; court accompaniment and advocacy; counseling; crisis case management; help with safety planning; information and referrals for counseling, housing, and other programs; help communicating with the Assistant District Attorney and police; help with medical, housing, employment and financial needs; education and training about abuse; assistance in filing Family Court Family Offense petitions; and VINE program registration for offender release information.
