Provides a state-wide Child Support Enforcement Helpline to obtain information about their child's support cases and the services offered. If a caller needs information that is specific to a county, then the caller is given the appropriate person and number to call at the county level.

Program connects pro se clients with trained attorneys to assist them in filling out the forms and any ancillary legal documents appropriately. LSHV and/or a volunteer attorney could follow up with the clients assisted in the clinic to determine whether the divorce papers were filed correctly.

Provides legal advocacy including information, referrals or accompaniment to: Family Court, Criminal Court, Domestic Violence Court, Sex Offense Court, Integrated Domestic Violence Court, police, probation department and District Attorney's office. Petitions and accompaniment for orders of protection. Also provides assistance to victims and family members who are entitled to compensation through the New York State Crime Victims Board. Provides referral, application process and support.

Offers assistance to custodial parents in obtaining court ordered child and health support for their dependent children as well as establishing paternity. Individuals who pay and/or receive child support payments that are collected through a child support unit can call and request to have their local Child Support Representative contact them.

Provides a service, in collaboration with 2 other agencies (My Sisters' Place and Westchester Hispanic Coalition) to offer free legal services for poverty level residents or those who are victims of domestic violence for consumer disputes, housing, education, benefits, domestic violence, orders of protection, custody, child support, family law, including citizenship applications, work authorizations or other immigration issues.

Provides the following services to custodial parents and their children, to find absent parents, establish legal fatherhood for a child, obtain support for their children, including a provision for medical support, and enforce the terms of the Family Court/Supreme Court orders of support.

Pro bono attorneys and law students provide consultation and advice in child support matters. Representation in court is not provided.

Assists citizens of Orange County in establishing paternity and child support orders and promoting the self-sufficiency of families.

Offers a safe place where victims can go to talk with a counselor, get legal help such as obtaining an Order of Protection and child support, learn about making a safety plan, find out about domestic violence shelter services, access public assistance, spiritual support and much more.

Provides child support enforcement services.

Coordinates with the Chautauqua County Child Abuse Multidisciplinary Team to respond to child physical and sexual abuse cases to reduce trauma to children and non-offending family members and stewards of children. Offers a prevention and response training for adults. Provides trauma counseling and problematic sexual behavior counseling for children 17 and under.

Provides motor vehicle and other driver services such as: renewals for operator and motorcycle licenses, permits, and non-driver ID cards; amendments to all types of licenses, permits and non-driver ID cards; conversion of out-of state licenses to NY; renewals of registrations; new plates for passenger and commercial vehicles, trailers, and motorcycles; amendments to registrations for all vehicle types; plate transfers from one vehicle to another for all vehicle types; plate surrenders; and enforcement matters including DWI, child support payments and insurance lapses. Provides crisis intervention and support for victims of family violence, elder abuse, rape, and sexual assault. Offers safe, confidential services including counseling, safety-planning, court advocacy, and referrals. Also provides comprehensive domestic violence, sexual assault, teen dating violence, elder abuse, and bullying prevention programs available for schools, community groups, women's groups, scouting troops, and other interested groups.

Assists custodial parents to establish orders for paternity, medical support, and child support; handles collection and enforcement of orders once they have been established; and assists custodial parents in modification of existing court orders.

Provides free legal representation in eight counties of Western New York. The Chautauqua County office offers legal services in the areas of: - Assisted Living - Evictions - Consumer Protection - Elder Abuse Prevention - Foreclosure Prevention - Health Care Advocacy - Housing - Income Maintenance - Substituted Decision Making - Western New York Coalition Pooled Trust Also houses the Elder Advocacy Program, a cross-systems community collaboration to address elder abuse. The Elder Advocacy Program acts as a single point-of-entry for elder abuse survivors, assessing their needs and providing appropriate legal and non-legal services to end abuse and empower survivors.

A "one-stop-shop" for children and their families in the aftermath of child abuse. Serves as a home-base for multidisciplinary team members to come together in one place for the benefit of the child. The JFCAC staff and multidisciplinary team consists of compassionate, highly-skilled professionals in the fields of law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, medicine, mental health, victim advocacy, and forensic interviewing. All services provided to children and their caregivers at the JFCAC are offered on-site and free of charge. Assists custodial parents in obtaining an order of support; assists in getting paternity established; and enforces Court Orders for Child Support.

Provides day-of advice on matters such as custody, visitation, child support, and paternity for individuals with cases in Family Court.
