Provides a state-wide Child Support Enforcement Helpline to obtain information about their child's support cases and the services offered. If a caller needs information that is specific to a county, then the caller is given the appropriate person and number to call at the county level.
Program connects pro se clients with trained attorneys to assist them in filling out the forms and any ancillary legal documents appropriately. LSHV and/or a volunteer attorney could follow up with the clients assisted in the clinic to determine whether the divorce papers were filed correctly.
Provides legal advocacy including information, referrals or accompaniment to: Family Court, Criminal Court, Domestic Violence Court, Sex Offense Court, Integrated Domestic Violence Court, police, probation department and District Attorney's office. Petitions and accompaniment for orders of protection. Also provides assistance to victims and family members who are entitled to compensation through the New York State Crime Victims Board. Provides referral, application process and support.

Provides the following services to custodial parents and their children, to find absent parents, establish legal fatherhood for a child, obtain support for their children, including a provision for medical support, and enforce the terms of the Family Court/Supreme Court orders of support.
Pro bono attorneys and law students provide consultation and advice in child support matters. Representation in court is not provided.
Assists citizens of Orange County in establishing paternity and child support orders and promoting the self-sufficiency of families.
Offers a safe place where victims can go to talk with a counselor, get legal help such as obtaining an Order of Protection and child support, learn about making a safety plan, find out about domestic violence shelter services, access public assistance, spiritual support and much more.

A "one-stop-shop" for children and their families in the aftermath of child abuse. Serves as a home-base for multidisciplinary team members to come together in one place for the benefit of the child. The JFCAC staff and multidisciplinary team consists of compassionate, highly-skilled professionals in the fields of law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, medicine, mental health, victim advocacy, and forensic interviewing. All services provided to children and their caregivers at the JFCAC are offered on-site and free of charge.
