SAIL provides assistance to individuals with disabilities, family members, and other interested parties concerning SSI, SSDI, Survivor's Benefits, DAC Benefits, NYS Disability, Worker's Compensation, VA Benefits, and Public Assistance. Benefits advisement includes counseling and training concerning work incentive programs and legislation (Medicaid Buy-In Program, 1619B Provision, IRWEs, etc.) that allows individuals with disabilities to work.

SALVATION ARMY EMERGENCY BASIC NEEDS FOOD PANTRY | SALVATION ARMY OF ONONDAGA COUNTY

Assists individuals and families once every month by providing enough food for 3 days. (Special circumstances warrant more frequent aid.) There is also assistance in applying for Food Stamps, WIC, or other benefits, if eligible. Hygiene items, diapers, baby food, and formula are available either directly or through referral through the Pantry Plus program, based on availability.

Fair Hearings - New York State Office of Temporary & Disability Assistance

Provides a chance for individuals to tell an Administrative Law Judge from the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, Office of Administrative Hearings, why they think a decision about their case made by a local social services agency is wrong. The Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance will then issue a written decision which will state whether the local agency's decision was wrong or right. The written decision may order the local agency to correct the case. When calling the 711 Relay Services, request the operator call 1-877-502-6155. Service at this number will only be provided to callers using TDD equipment.
