Medicaid Application Assistance Program (MAAP) offers Medicaid application assistance. Facilitated Enroller can assist with the process of applying for Medicaid including going over the application, help to compile all the information needed to apply, submit the application and necessary documents to the local Department of Social Services.

As a service of the Children's Bureau (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services), access to print, electronic publications, websites, and online databases covering a wide range of topics from prevention to permanency is made available, including child welfare, child abuse and neglect, out-of-home care, adoption, and other child-related issues.

Provides basic support services to seniors, including arranging transportation, HEAP, Medicaid and meals.

Assists individuals and families once every month by providing enough food for 3 days. (Special circumstances warrant more frequent aid.) Issues covered include family conflict, parenting issues, divorce, separation, grief, substance abuse, mental health issues, anger management, and behavioral difficulties. Also provides assistance with enrollment for food stamps, health insurance, and other benefits.

A nonprofit law firm that provides free legal aid, including legal representation, advocacy, and other services, to low-income people in 14 counties of Western New York. Provides help with problems relating to housing/homelessness, evictions, foreclosure, domestic violence, orders of protection, family law issues (with referral from the family court), re-entry, unemployment insurance denials, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) denials, government benefits, public assistance, SNAP, and other legal problems.
