SENIOR OUTREACH | JOINT COUNCIL FOR ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY (JCEO) - CHAMPLAIN

The Senior Outreach Program helps to meet the diverse needs of the aging population, sixty and over. Senior Outreach Workers provide information about programs, benefits, and services that may be available to seniors in our community. Our Senior Outreach Workers are also available to help fill out paperwork or applications for programs. They serve as advocates when seniors are having problems with social security, food stamps, Medicaid, health insurance, and more.

COMMUNITY-BASED PREVENTION | OSBORNE ASSOCIATION

Provides supportive services for people returning from jail or prison who have chronic health problems, such as AIDS/HIV, addiction or other infectious diseases. Offers health education, case management, on-site medical testing, and offering assistance in finding other benefits, housing and health care.

SENIOR BENEFITS INFORMATION CENTERS | WESTCHESTER LIBRARY SYSTEM - NEW ROCHELLE PUBLIC LIBRARY

Senior Benefits Information Centers (SBICs) help adults 60 and older, and those caring for the elderly, achieve a better understanding of Medicare health plans and prescription drug coverage (Part D prescription drug coverage, Medicare Advantage, Medic-Gap). Information and counseling is provided about different types of government programs, including federal and state financial assistance programs, and county-wide benefits. You can meet one-on-one with a trained counselor at one of our library-based locations. Spanish interpreter can be made available by appointment.
