Additionally, assistance with employment issues can be accessed through a VA Medical Center, and assistance with legal matters.Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) provide affordable, accessible care to veterans outside VA's core medical services by offering services like primary care, counseling, lab work, prescriptions, and radiology, while reducing travel time and wait times for outpatient care.Veterans Benefits Administration Offices (Regional Offices) provide veterans with earned benefits and services, including compensation, pension, vocational rehabilitation, home loans, death benefits, employment support, and disability assistance.Vet Centers offer free readjustment counseling and outreach services to veterans who served in combat zones and their families for military-related issues.

Benefits advisement includes counseling and training concerning work incentive programs and legislation (Medicaid Buy-In Program, 1619B Provision, IRWEs, etc.) that allows individuals with disabilities to work.
Provides a variety of services for people with disabilities in an effort to gain independence. Services include individual advocacy, peer counseling, systems advocacy, benefits planning assistance, education and employment support, ADA consultations, housing search assistance, and media resources.

SAIL offers individuals with disabilities, family members, and other interested parties assistance and advocacy related to benefit and entitlement programs, community services, and other local, state, or federal programs. Services include advocacy and assistance with Social Security applications and appeals, and applications and appeals concerning State and local resources (including Personal Care services, home health aide services, in-home nursing, homemaker services, public assistance, food stamps, early Intervention services, Family Health Plus, Medicaid, transportation, Medicaid waivers, etc.). Where necessary, assistance and advocacy is provided for informal appeals, fair hearings, and administrative law reviews. In addition, advocacy and assistance is provided for children of school age concerning the CSE process and meetings, as well as for issues involving IDEA, FAPE, transition planning, Work-Study, and other school-related services. Assistance and advocacy are also provided for individuals who choose to access services through VESID, CBVH, OMRDD, OMH, SOFA, DOT, Hospice, and other state and local agencies.
