Helps people who are applying for public or subsidized housing who have been denied, or tenants in public or subsidized housing who are worried about losing their subsidy or who have questions about how their rent has been calculated. Helps tenants whose landlords are not making necessary repairs and who are forced to live under unsafe or hazardous conditions. Also provides legal assistance and advocacy to people who have encountered discrimination while looking for housing, or during their tenancy.
