OAR serves people who have been involved in the criminal justice system. They help restore and maintain their clients inclusion in the community. In an effort to reduce recidivism they offer assistance with services such as: Meeting basic needs including food, clothing and social support Help obtain ID such as DMV non driver ID's and birth certificates. Applications for housing, employment, and financial assistance Provide safe affordable transitional housing Outreach to the encampments Referrals for medical and mental health College Initiative Upstate (CIU) Partnerships with numerous community organizations

Secure facility that houses inmates. The inmates may be awaiting trial or sentencing, or they may be serving a sentence after being convicted of a crime. Jails and Prisons maintain records on inmates, including arrest records, sentencing records, court documents, and other criminal records. Nassau County Correctional Center makes these records available to the public. Call for detailed information.
