AARP Free Tax Preparation for individuals that qualify

Provides nutritious meals, reservations are needed by noon the day before. A contribution of $4.00 is requested for people age 60+ and spouse of any age. Those under age 60 are charged $5.00 per meal. No one age 60+ will be denied a meal due to an inability or unwillingness to contribute. Center provides various social activities including exercise groups, cards, games, crafts, trips and other special events.

Households can file simple tax returns for free.

Volunteers prepare and file simple Federal and State Tax returns for working participants. Training provided by DSS. Volunteers are not paid for their services, so they are not liable for any tax advice or assistance rendered.
