Services provided, as resources permit, include emergency rent payment assistance, local and long distance transit fare, prescription payment assistance, clothing, utility assistance, and information and referral.

Provides help with navigating the 511 NY Southern Tier Rideshare services. Helps eliminate transportation barriers to and from medical appointments. Offers bus tokens and gas money to individuals in need of transportation assistance for non-emergency medical appointments, finding employment, groceries, and applying or re-certifying for services at a human service agency.

Provides regularly scheduled bus service on various routes in urbanized area 7 days/week.

Serves consumers whose transportation needs cannot be met by Medicaid transportation and to ensure they have access to medical appointments and HIV related services. Individuals are provided cab rides, bus tokens, or gas cards to meet with their medical providers.

Provides the following services: advocacy, information and referral, food pantry, limited emergency funds, bus tokens for transportation, employment programs, and companionship. Also offers bereavement counseling.

Provides outreach to Veterans identified as at risk of suicide, provides a baseline mental health assessment to potential participants in the program, and provides the following services for eligible participants: - Coordination of emergency treatment for participants, including coverage of any initial monetary charges for treatment, as long as the participant receives ongoing clinical services through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) - Case management with a holistic, individualized approach - Peer support - Assistance in obtaining VA benefits, including but not limited to vocational and rehabilitation services, employment and training services, educational assistance, housing assistance, and health care (including mental health care) services - Assistance in obtaining and coordinating with other public benefits for crisis-related needs, including health care services, daily living services, legal services, personal financial planning, credit counseling, and employment and vocational services - Eligible temporary income support assistance - Transportation assistance in the form of public transportation tokens - Childcare payment assistance for children under the age of 13 - General suicide prevention stability assistance, which can assist participants with funds to cover anything that may be contributing to a suicidal factor specific to a participant - Other suicide prevention services that are necessary for improving mental health such as adaptive sports, equine therapy, indoor or outdoor recreational therapy, substance use reduction programming, and individual, group, or family counseling All financial assistance is provided directly to third parties for services to veterans, and funds do not go directly to veterans themselves. ##Veteran##

Offers free services to young people with limited or no access to money, 24/7 support via email, phone, live chat and text. NRS provides free services to youth in crisis aged 12 to 21. We hear from young people who are at home and simply need somewhere to turn for advice, and also we connect with youth who have runaway or were kicked out of their home and are now couch surfing, living in their car or staying in shelters or on the street. The Para Transit system is an alternative, curb-to-curb public transportation designed to "mirror" the Bee-Line fixed-route service in terms of service times and areas. No assistance is provided to individuals between their door and the Para Transit vehicle. Assistance is provided ONLY to help board and exit vehicles. Para Transit is required to provide service only if both the starting point and the destination of a trip are located within 3/4 mile of a Bee Line transit route.

Works with Greyhound Lines Inc to arrange bus ticket home for qualified youth or runaways 12-21 yrs who want to return home.

Offers public transportation throughout Westchester County for or a small fee, with access of current fares, schedules and routes via the phone or website. Also provides reduced fares for senior citizens.

Also provides emergency assistance with food (food vouchers). Offers domestic violence sessions for men who are mandated by the criminal justice system or an agent of the courts for 26/52 sessions.
