Provides assistance with basic needs for individuals or families who have emergency need. Services provided, as resources permit, include emergency rent payment assistance, clothing, utility assistance on a limited basis (excluding water/sewer bills), and personal hygiene items (shampoo, toothpaste, sanitary items, diapers).

Offers food vouchers from the Utica office, and a food pantry for individuals and families in the Rome area. Assists with prescription dug assistance for up to a month supply, depending on fund availability to Madison County residents.

Assists individuals and families once every month by providing enough food for 3 days. (Special circumstances warrant more frequent aid.) There is also assistance in applying for Food Stamps, WIC, or other benefits, if eligible. Hygiene items, diapers, baby food, and formula are available either directly or through referral through the Pantry Plus program, based on availability.

Provides a wide selection of perishables including fresh fruits, vegetables, bread, baked good, meet, cheese, yogurt and butter to individuals in need on a weekly basis. Offers paper products, personal hygiene items, and household cleaning products, when available.

Assists individuals and families once every month by providing food as well as in times of emergency.

Provides a daily meal, shelter, showers and laundry, and case management services to homeless and chronically homeless individuals. Offers communication tools such as mailboxes, telephone, and copier as well as storage lockers. Offers a 10-bed permanent supportive housing program to eligible chronically homeless individuals.

Provides a food pantry and assists with food and other emergencies such as utilities, fuel, and shelter. Also works with families in the area of family development, including budgeting as well as job skills and job search assistance.

Offers individuals and families who are struggling to meet their basic needs assistance which includes a listening ear, referrals to existing programs and services, and when needed, material goods and financial assistance.

* Collects donations of baby items and clothing for moms and babies and redistributes them to social service agencies and church outreach programs that work with parents and children who need them most in the Rochester community. Items collected include the following:Baby Supplies (formula, diapers, wipes, baby bath, bottles). Personal Hygiene Items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant). Feminine Products and adult diapers. Cleaning Supplies (All-purpose, bleach, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, sponges). Monetary Donations.

* Provides food and other basic necessities once a month including: canned and non-perishable foods, paper products, and personal hygiene items.

Food pantry outreach to Tioga County residents may be served one time and will be referred to a pantry in their area.

Volunteers provide quarters, detergent and fabric softener as needed from 3pm - 5pm on the last Thursday of each month.

*Provide direct assistance to low-income individuals and families by providing case management services through a series of assessments. Assistance based on need and includes rent, security deposit, mortgage, utilities (such as gas, electric, heating, water, and sewer), auto insurance and repairs, personal hygiene items, diapers and wipes, furniture, as well as gasoline and bus passes for employment-related services. * Provides information and referrals to the appropriate resources or agencies. * Provides personal financial counseling.

Helps eliminate barriers to school success by taking the burden of clothing and appearance/hygiene woes off the high school students' minds.Donations are welcome - drop off new or gently used items to the high school guidance office. Contact the school psychologist for more information.

Helps with the cost of doing laundry.

Provides food to those in need. Also have some personal care and hygiene items.

Food pantry that works in partnership with the Western Broome parishes to provide food, clothing and basic necessities for residents of Endicott, Endwell, Vestal and the Town of Maine. Residents can also access 100 Main St pantry if needed. May also have formula and diapers.

Food pantry for emergency use up to three times per year for Butternut Valley area residents. Toiletries are included if available.

Provides a food pantry for individuals in need that reside in Jefferson County. Clients are offered a 10 day supply of food. Offers formula, instant meals for individuals with limited means, dog and cat food when available.

Clothing Assistance. Diaper Assistance. Vouchers to area supermarkets for food and personal items. Advocacy and referrals to outside agencies. Crisis assessment and management. Bilingual Services. Registration for Salvation Army Programs (Project Bundle Up, Long Point Camp, Christmas Assistance, etc.)
