Resource specialists assist guests with connecting to coordinated entry assessments, Single Point of Access assessments, homeless services, benefits/entitlement referrals, and linkage to behavioral health services. Offers a supply of fresh produce, dairy items, hygiene products, socks, and various household necessities. Located inside the back entrance of the Frank E. Merriweather, Jr. Public Library. The fridge and shelves are supplied by a collaborative effort between Rooted In Love, Club HBHF, and Dion's Dreamers. Rooted In Love contributes fresh produce and dairy items; Club HBHF contributes personal protective equipment, socks, and various household necessities; and Dion's Dreamers contributes hygiene products. Items are also contributed by different partner organizations each week.

Provides on-site emergency food pantry for residents of specific streets in Niagara Falls (call for details) and information on meal planning and budgeting. Also distributes food donations (separate from pantry services) three days per week; first come, first served. Items and quantities vary each week according to donations received, and are given out until they're gone. Provides back rent, mortgage, and utility payment assistance to low income residents of Niagara Falls when funds are available; funds are currently unavailable. Fair Housing Advocacy Program assists individuals who feel they are victims of discrimination when purchasing or renting a home. Provides information, assessment, and referral to the appropriate federal, state, or local human rights agency or court. Housing location services and landlord/tenant advocacy also provided. Individual advocacy, information and referral, application assistance, case management, asset management, and budget counseling available.

Provides a food pantry and community kitchen (currently offering bagged lunches to go). Thrift store offers affordable clothing and household items. Baby Love Program provides diapers, wipes, baby food, and formula twice per month. Giving Tree collects and provides assistance for specific needs including children's coats, baby needs, Christmas gifts, and back to school needs among others.

Provides support services for transition age youth (ages 16-24) who are experiencing homelessness. Offers clinical services, food, clothing, personal care items, and shower and laundry facilities overnight. ##REENTRY##

Food pantry available to community members in need of food assistance. Items include (but are not limited to) frozen meats, non-perishables, and fresh produce (more available during summertime). Individuals are eligible for 3 days of food every 30 days for emergencies only. Also free clothing closet available during pantry hours, personal care and feminine hygiene products.

Offers aid to families in crisis through the provision of personal care items, food vouchers, utility and rent payment assistance, transportation coordination, economic self sufficiency program, referrals to other agencies, and food (see separate listing for food pantry). Provides opportunities to increase children's educational chances for success in school by providing school readiness learning and helping to find and obtain quality child care. Also provides on the job training, teenage pregnancy prevention education, and energy and weatherization home assistance.

Works to provide basic living essentials such as clothing, food, and hygiene products for families with children 17 and under who are at risk of being separated due to poverty. Education and assistance is also provided to families by securing benefits and services which promote self-sustainability as well as providing families with the tools, support, resources, and encouragement they need to achieve independence, good health, and a stable future. ##REENTRY##

Provides assistance to individuals with an urgent need for food, personal care items, prescriptions, or other needs due to an unforeseen emergency. Offers Our Kids Parent Education Groups for separated/divorced parents and significant others who want to reduce conflict and parent effectively for their children.

Helps those in need working collaboratively with social workers, communities and homeless shelters on Long Island to offer a variety of services including weekly blessing boxes filled with food, diapers, formula, and toiletries, a food pantry, emergency food bags, back to school supply drives, Thanksgiving meal programs, Halloween, Christmas and Easter basket programs which provide necessities to families in crisis on Long Island.

Assist homeless individuals with public shower needs.

Providing life-changing support to people who have lost their housing or are struggling to meet other basic needs. Work with those we serve to build a more secure future by supplying them with linen, clothing, toiletries and other personal care. Assist in helping to find shelter for those who are unable to be placed with social services.

Pantry for clients/families in need can receive bags of groceries from the donated stock. The pantry receive and also accepts as donations, personal hygiene items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, deodorant, feminine products, razors, shaving cream, toilet paper, tissues, diapers, baby wipes. NOTE: Personal hygiene items are donated and it is requested that the parties in need call to inquire whether the hygiene products are in stock.
