There are resident lounges, laundry facilities, vegetable and flower gardens, and a library of books and DVDs and educational and cultural programs.. It is on the bus line and a shopping bus is available. There is a security staff and there are no steps or stairs.

Burns Apartments offers one-bedroom apartments to senior citizens and the disabled for 30% of their adjusted gross income. This is a six-story building with 99 units, 20 of which have been adapted for the disabled. Cats or small dogs are allowed. There is a regular shopping bus, a community room and scheduled activities, a garden and gazebo area, milk delivery, meals on wheels and newspaper regular delivery.
