Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program for very low and extremely low income individuals and families.
Drop-in center for homeless vets. Provides linkage with VA services and assistance with finding housing. Works with homeless and at-risk veterans to help them overcome the barriers that may prevent them from receiving or benefiting from health services. Veterans have access to a shower in the Drop-in Center. Also offers outreach to homeless veterans in shelters, soup kitchens, and on the streets. Outreach workers help establish eligibility for VA medical service and pension, develop appropriate treatment plans, and screen for community placement. Homeless veterans eligible for VA Healthcare may call for availability and screening for VA funded emergency shelter, transitional housing, and HUD section 8 voucher program. Primary care clinic available on Tuesday mornings by appointment. ##Veteran##

Highland School Apartments, an affordable housing complex, are available for rent to people who are age 18 or older and meet the federally-mandated household income guidelines. The building houses 35 one-bedroom and three two-bedroom handicap adaptable apartments, some of which have been specifically designed for people who are mobility and vision/hearing impaired.

Affordable senior apartments offering maintenance-free living for people ages 55 and older who meet income eligibility. Apartment units include a refrigerator and stove, various safety features, and on-site laundry facilities. One and two-bedroom units available. Section 8 vouchers accepted. Additional apartment features include part time professional on-site management, availability of accessible or barrier-free apartment units, secure entrance, community room, and central air conditioning. Tenants may have one small pet. Seven units are reserved for people who are frail elderly/homeless and in need of support services. Apartments are located near a major bus route, as well as within a few blocks of restaurants and shopping.
An affordable housing community for individuals 55 years old and above located in the village of Le Roy, New York. Heat, air conditioning, hot water and electric are included in the rent and on-site laundry facilities are available at no cost to the tenant. Apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen with a range, refrigerator, and microwave, and a wall-mounted flat screen TV including basic cable service and in-unit storage. Tenants have access to a community room, lounges, and a computer lab. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in common areas in the buildings. Buildings are 100 percent smoke free, with designated smoking areas provided outdoors. Off-street parking is available.

Provides subsidized independent living apartments for persons age 62 and older or physically disabled, able to live independently (aide services are not provided). This 13-story high-rise consists of 250 one-bedroom units. Resident services include a transportation program for medical appointments and weekly grocery shopping; a mini-grocery store in the building; an exercise program; and on-site security. Also acts as a host site for the Niagara Nutrition Program, which is open to the public.
