This program is designed to permit persons with disabilities to maintain residence or achieve residence either in their own homes or in rental units where other assistance is not available. Repairs will be limited to accessibility issues only.

Provides repair service for seniors 55+ to do small home repair and installation, such as: leaky faucets, railings, wheelchair ramps, porch/stair repair, safety devices, locks, etc. Labor free of charge, clients pay for materials.

Provides financial assistance for improvements within homes occupied by persons with a disability in order to improve their accessibility. Typical improvements include installation of exterior ramps and bathroom and kitchen modifications.

Emergency help for home owners 60+ to correct problems that are threat to life, health, or safety of seniors in Broome County (leaky faucets, locks installed, safety devices, railings, wheelchair ramps, porch and stair repair, and more.) Call for details.

This service provides internal and external physical adaptations to the home or other eligible residences of the enrolled child which per the child's plan of care (POC) is identified as necessary to support the health, welfare, and safety of the child or that enable the child to function with greater independence in the home and without which the child would require institutional and/or more restrictive living setting.

Repairs and rehabilitates homes of low income, elderly, families with children and displaced or disabled homeowners by providing free repair services. Also builds wheelchair ramps when needed.

Provides handicap ramps or lifts to allow disabled and elderly homeowners to remain in their homes. Services available countywide.
