Provides a short-term emergency shelter when temperatures and/or windchill became dangerously inclement. Serves as a housing alternative for those who otherwise refuse to enter shelter.
* Provides an emergency shelter and support services for homeless families (all family compositions) with children and couples.
On Code Blue evenings (declared when the temperature drops below 10 degrees, the wind chill is expected to reach zero, or when the forecast calls for a foot of snow or more) extra beds will be available for just one night at homeless shelters in the City of Albany, and free transportation to these shelters will be provided by CDTA, the Albany police and firefighters, and Capitaland Taxi. HATAS is still the single point of access for these shelters. Homeless persons can go directly to either the Capital City Rescue Mission at 259 S. Pearl Street or the Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless Drop-In Center at 26 South Swan Street.

* Provides emergency shelter for homeless single men.
Provides an emergency shelter for men with access to meals, permanent housing, employment and spiritual assistance. Makes referrals to appropriate services for those with substance abuse and mental health issues. Case managers are available to provide assistance.
Provides an 80-bed emergency evening shelter for homeless men. Dormitory style sleeping accommodations. Shower and laundry facilities. Breakfast and lunch are served daily. Casework services are available for shelter residents interested in securing permanent housing.
Provides emergency shelter for homeless men, women, families with children, and youth ages 16 years and older. Guests receive personal care items, three meals a day, the use of a laundry area, and case management assistance with goal setting, identifying, and accessing appropriate housing.

Provides 8-bed men's shelter furnishing bed, food, addiction recovery support, transportation to medical facilities, transportation to job interviews, medical and transitional assistance. Men from the homeless shelter who have acquired jobs can stay until they have the necessary finances to be self-supporting.Transitional housing offers more privacy but the men all live in a house together and share common rooms.
