10-bed emergency homeless shelter for single adults and childless couples.

Provides short-term emergency shelter for couples and families who find themselves homeless. Provides residents with assistance in finding permanent housing, advocacy, and referrals where needed. Caseworkers are on site for short-term counseling.

Works with runaway, homeless, and at-risk youth. Provides a 24-hours crisis hotline and emergency housing assistance. Offers crisis intervention and on-going counseling for youth and their family. Provides transportation and advocacy services, and works on independent living skills.

Homeless shelter for individual 18 years and older. . Dinner and breakfast, bus passes/transportation, showers, laundry available.

Homeless crisis shelter service providing ONE NIGHT ONLY in local Dunkirk Motel if there are rooms available. Does not provide transportation to or from areas.

Provides a variety of emergency services for food, clothing, financial assistance, shelter, and job information. Other services are Bereavement Support Groups Divorce/Separation Support Group Home Visits, chores, and phone visits to homebound Lend-A-Helping Hand for women with breast cancer Lending services of medical items (i.e. wheelchairs, walkers, etc.) Meals on Wheels Senior Citizen Services information Thanksgiving Ministry Thrift Store Transportation to and from medical appointments and personal needs (a van with a lift is also available). Bagels and Bingo is a monthly program to bring homebound seniors out to the Parish Center in cooperation with the Rosemary Kennedy BOCES School. Provides shelter for homeless women and children as well as relief for individuals in domestic violence situations. Offers security 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Stays are generally 30 days with an extension if needed. Arrangements are made for residents to move to transitional living situations in an effort to attain self-sufficiency. Provides transitional housing for women. Services provided to residents include: on-site medical care; classroom for preschool children; certified public school teachers and classroom for school age children; licensed daycare; referrals for case management, food, clothing, and shelter; links with social workers and mental health counselors; and a 12 step recovery program for drug and alcohol abuse. HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm; Shelter operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
