Offers a 76-unit transitional housing facility for homeless families. HELP Suffolk is the largest housing facility for the homeless on Long Island. The complex sits on seven acres of property and consists of four residential buildings, a community building, two playgrounds and a baseball field. HELP Suffolk has served over 4,000 families and places approximately 60 percent of families into permanent housing. Since its inception, approximately 500 individuals have secured employment in over 120 companies throughout Suffolk County. Available services include: Medical Services; Employment Services; Mental Health Services; Housing Placement Assistance; Early Childhood Education/Daycare; After School Programs; Homework Help/Tutoring; Client Case Management; Recreation; After-Care Services and On-Site Security. A short term emergency shelter for runaway and homeless youth ages 12-20 years old. The program is a voluntary program for up to 30 days. Each youth has an individualized care plan that addresses academic needs, mental health needs, substance abuse needs, and skills necessary to work toward self-sufficiency. The home is supervised 24 hours per day and the staff includes MSW's Residential Counselors and Bachelor's level professionals. This is a co-ed program.

Offers diagnostic and emergency placement for sibling groups removed from their homes or in the process of placement transition. The program can accommodate 12 children and offers a 24 hour professionally supervised environment. The program provides crisis and preventive respite services for youth and their siblings. Referrals must come from Nassau or Suffolk County Departments of Social Services as well as the Mental Health Crisis Respite Bed System.

Ruth House Homeless Transitional Shelter is a supportive – yet temporary – housing accommodation that is meant to bridge the gap from homelessness to permanent housing by offering structure, supervision, support, life skills, and in some cases, education and training

Providing life-changing support to people who have lost their housing or are struggling to meet other basic needs. Work with those we serve to build a more secure future by supplying them with linen, clothing, toiletries and other personal care. Assist in helping to find shelter for those who are unable to be placed with social services.

Provides short-term emergency shelter for runaway/homeless youth, along with a residential program that offers basic needs, counseling, mediation, and referral/coordination to other needed services.

Offers shelter to women in Patchogue ages 18 plus, without children who find themselves forced to leave home due to eviction, abuse, or other factors. They can access Mercy for comprehensive services to help them find their way back to independent living. Residents live in a safe, structured environment, work in the community, receive case management, counseling, and ongoing learning in the home environment.
