Distributes food and food-related products to people in need through a network of more than 130 hunger-relief member agencies including food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other non-profit organizations. The Food Bank also has a number of direct service programs that fight hunger including the BackPack Program and Mobile Food Pantry. Located in Elmira, NY the Food Bank is a regional agency of Catholic Charities and a member of Feeding America.

Also provide safety and prevention information on Hudson River fish, as well as information on free summer meals for youth.

Nutrition Education
The Summer Food Program is designed to fill the nutrition gap and make sure children who normally receive free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch, can get the nutritious meals they need during the summer. Also provides information on other child nutrition programs available.
This program provides additional breakfast and lunch foods for families with school age children in Ulster County. It begins at the end of school in June and runs until school begins in September. Parents/guardians can visit us once per week to get this bag of groceries (which changes each week). Bag Holiday Hunger is the same program that runs the week between Christmas and New Year's Day.
Offers assistance, information and pre-screening for potential for SNAP/food stamp eligibility. Staff assists in completing paperwork, copying documents, scheduling telephone interviews, following up with and advocating on behalf of applicants at the local social services department.Can help if you receive SNAP benefits and have lost food due to natural disasters, equipment failure or electric outages.
