A community café open to everyone serving continental breakfast, soups, salads and sandwiches for lunch.

Congregate Meals, served in group settings, are provided throughout New York State by Area Agencies on Aging. Meals are available to adults age 60 and older as well as their spouses of any age, without regard to income, up to five days a week. Each meal provides at least 1/3 of the recommended daily allowance (RDA) for an individual. There are over 1,000 congregate meal sites in New York State. They are located in senior centers or clubs, senior housing complexes, town halls and other community facilities. In addition to meals, many service providers also offer health and wellness programs, nutrition education, recreational programs and transportation to the individual dining sites. However, due to program funding limitations, there may be a waiting list for nutrition services.

Provides a nutritious meal to Islip Town residents who are 60 years and over. Reservations must be made and a voluntary contribution per meal is suggested. Transportation is available.

Provides Town of Babylon seniors with a nutritional breakfast and lunch, recreational, cultural, advisory and health programs, senior advocate, counseling, bereavement groups, transportation for medical, shopping and to nutrition center, telephone reassurance program, and educational speakers. Publishes monthly newsletter.

Provides a daily lunch meal, during the week, for seniors at the Van Tassel House (Somers), and delivers the lunch to homebound seniors. NOTE: A new location for a community and senior center in Croton Falls is currently under renovation.

Themed luncheons, breakfast and pizza parties are held for invited seniors to enjoy a meal, gather with old friends and enjoy some entertainment. Transportation may be provided

Provides adult day services including socialization, therapeutic recreation, entertainment, games, crafts, light exercise, music, interaction with children, breakfast, and lunch. Also offers special program for persons diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease or related disorders. Support groups for caregivers available. Transportation is available.

Offers transportation for senior citizens through the Dial-A-Ride program within the Town limits for weekly food shopping, monthly banking and medical appointments. Offers Home Aide program which provides light housekeeping, shopping, laundry and errands for eligible seniors. Minor home repairs are also available. Homeowners only pay for the materials, not labor. Offers Meals on Wheels program which delivers hot noontime meals on weekdays to homebound seniors and/or those unable to cook for themselves.
