Offers a lunch time meal at several locations during the week to seniors who can leave their home and want to eat and socialize with others. Also delivers a lunch meal during the week to homebound seniors.

Offers a hot lunch meal accompanied by an activity at the senior center (Van Tassell House) on weekdays, and home delivered meals for those seniors who are homebound due to age, illness or fragile, in the community. Delivered 11:00 am-2:00 pm weekdays.

Office for the Aging has congregate meals which are available to adults age 60 and older as well as their spouses of any age, without regard to income, up to five days a week. They also have a Meals on Wheels program which delivers meals to home bound older residents in the community.

Offers a lunch meal, during the week, for senior in the local community, giving them an opportunity to eat with and socialize with others.

Provides a location for seniors to gather and socialize, along with a lunch meal twice a week, and social activities, trips, guest speakers, and information and referral services to help link seniors to other resources in the community.

Provides seniors with a nutritious meal five days a week at a low cost. Also provides socialization opportunities, participation in group outings, attendance at legislative forums in Albany focusing on issues relating to seniors, recreational activities, and guest speakers addressing issues and concerns of seniors, such as Health Medicaid/Medicare, Food Stamps, HEAP, counseling and low-income housing needs. The program also provides transportation to seniors for their medical and dental appointments, prescription drug pick-up, food shopping and other essentials and to family and nutrition services.

Provides one hot meal daily Monday through Friday through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for homebound elderly in Southold Town. Frozen prepared meals are available for weekends if there is a demonstrated need. Also offers congregate dining five days a week/one meal a day. Transportation is available. Cooks certified by Suffolk County Department of Health. Funded by Southold Town, Suffolk County Office for the Aging and New York State Office For Aging.

Provides door-to-door transportation for seniors five days a week. Lunch is provided M-F Noon-1pm. Call for information. This program is funded by the Nassau County Department of Senior Affairs as a Multi Service Senior Center.

Designed for the frail elderly who need assistance in the activities of daily living.

Provides case management, education programs, information and referral, social and recreation programs, nutrition program, fitness classes, outreach, and transportation for medical needs, shopping, and nutrition program. Serves as a Cooling Center during times of extreme heat. Always call to make sure a Cooling Center is open before going there.

Provides subsidized independent living apartments for persons age 62 and older or physically disabled, able to live independently (aide services are not provided). Resident services include a transportation program for medical appointments and weekly grocery shopping; a mini-grocery store in the building; an exercise program; and on-site security. Also acts as a host site for the Niagara Nutrition Program, which is open to the public.

Community center. Serves as a senior meal site (see Hours below). Provides AARP Defensive Driving courses. Offers a summer program and numerous after-school programs and activities, including NURTURE Academy. NURTURE (Neighborhoods United for Restoration Teaching Upliftment Recreation & Education) Academy is an afterschool program that can help improve the academic performance of school-aged youth in grades K-8. The program’s foundation is centered on four key clubs: Reading, Culture, Debate, and Drama. Students also participate in character education, arts and crafts, and recreational activities that assist in their social development. HOURS: Monday-Friday, 9am-9pm. Senior Meals: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday, 10am-2pm. Summer program runs from July through mid-August. NURTURE Academy starts in September.

A gathering place for friendship, enrichment (arts, crafts, cards, games), education, travel, inter-generational activities, luncheons, social clubs (quilting, sewing, knitting, crochet, candy making), social gatherings, wellness workshops, fitness (yoga, tai chi, chair exercise, Pickleball, walking), special events, and Volunteer/Community Service Opportunities. Offers Supportive Services for elderly residents (Senior Advisor, Vision/Hearing assistance program, Memory Minders program, Caregiver support). A Niagara County nutrition lunch site. Information & Assistance for Medicare, Medicaid, various entitlement programs.

Provides a full complement of services to adults ages 55 and over. Daytime programming includes breakfast, lunch, take-home food, exercise, field trips, transportation services, health and wellness information, assistance with senior benefits/issues, recreation and cultural activities, technology classes, workshops, and referral services. Also offers an emergency food pantry, open to residents living in zip code 14204. All services are operated and managed by seniors.

Provides a home delivered meal up to five days a week. Meals are chilled or frozen, depending on location. Serves hot congregate meals at many sites throughout Cattaraugus County. Call for the complete list of meal sites.

Senior Social Care Program providing Stay Fit Dining where enrolled seniors are eligible to receive nutritious lunches, weekly social and physical activities, and educational programs.
