Provides weekly luncheons at the John Duke Center, Native crafts, socializing, field trips, visits to other Native Centers, and limited personal service.

Provides nutritious lunches and socialization at sites throughout the county. Promotes better health through improved nutrition, socialization, and supportive services.

Provides a free meal to individuals in the community.

Provides home delivered meals to senior residents who are unable to attend one of the congregate meal sites and are unable to prepare meals on their own. Meals are delivered by Meals on Wheels of Chemung County or from one of the congregate meal sites.

Provides a hot, well-balance meal served in a group setting, as well as home delivered meals to individuals who meet eligibility. Nutrition education and counseling is provided by a registered dietitian at congregate meal sites as well as for home delivered meal clients.

Provides after-school program that includes creative, skill-building activities, including a healthy snack/meal.

Offers three congregate dining sites to residents over 60. Nutritious meals are prepared by a registered dietician according to Health Department Meal Service Standards. Our three nutrition centers also provide residents with the opportunity to socialize and participate in a variety of activities, including: dancing, exercise, games, movies, and trips.

The Senior Citizens Council Nutrition Program provides a daily home delivered meal.

Program designed to encourage and maintain healthy lifestyles in elderly residents of the Buffalo River Community by providing affordable healthy meals, facilitated physical activity, peer interaction and socialization, and health care navigation and access to support services. Program activities include congregate dining, low-impact aerobics exercise, pinochle, cards, Bingo, art classes compliments of Art Services, Inc., healthy aging education, recreational activities, day trips, and more. Transportation is provided for those in need to and from all the VCA senior programs on Tuesday through Friday.

This program provides a daily meal 5 times a week, which meets 1-3 of the Recommended Daily Allowance.

Delivers freshly-prepared hot lunches to elderly, disabled, and/or ill residents living in and around Watertown and in Carthage. Clients may choose to have bagged dinners, as well as meals for the weekend, delivered. Meals are prepared to accommodate personal preferences as well as dietary restrictions.

Provides nutritious meals, reservations are needed by noon the day before. A contribution of $4.00 is requested for people age 60+ and spouse of any age. Those under age 60 are charged $5.00 per meal. No one age 60+ or their spouse will be denied a meal due to an inability or unwillingness to contribute.

Offers a warm, nutritious meal to those in need. In person or Take-out meals. Personal hygiene items, baby formula, and diapers.Food donations accepted Monday - Saturday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Volunteers welcome but call ahead to be put on the schedule.

Services include a nutritious noon meal along with fellowship, social activities, nutrition education and individual nutrition education.
