Working with 364 partner agencies in our eleven county service area of Central and Northern New York, the Food Bank works to eliminate hunger through nutritious food distribution, education, and advocacy in cooperation with the community.
Collects, stores and distributes food to people in need through a network of hunger-relief agency members/programs, also provides technical assistance regarding food safety and storage handling to their member agencies. Accepts donation of food items to be distributed through network.

Distributes food and food-related products to people in need through a network of more than 160 hunger-relief member agencies including food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other non-profit organizations. The Food Bank also has a number of direct service programs that fight hunger including the BackPack Program and Mobile Food Pantry. Located in Elmira, NY the Food Bank is a regional agency of Catholic Charities and a member of Feeding America.

Provides food to Southold families in need. Food donated by individuals, organizations, local farm stands, Long Island Cares and Island Harvest are collected and distributed at the main office. Also offers winter, spring and summer breakfast and lunch foods for school aged children during school recesses and summer vacation.

Also included are the supermarket chains, food manufacturers, wholesalers, restaurant suppliers, agencies that organize food drives, government departments (e.g., the USDA or Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in Canada) and other organizations that donate food on a regular basis to food banks and-or directly to food pantries, meal programs, homeless shelters and other human service agencies with food programs. Operates and oversees summer food program for children and provides an emergency food pantry. Nutrition Outreach and Education Program (NOEP) helps individuals, couples, and families apply for SNAP (food stamps). Other services include food stamp screening and enrollment, food recovery, food redistribution, community gardens, and seedling provision. HOURS: Monday-Friday, 9am-4:30pm. Food Pantry: Monday-Friday, 9am-12 noon & 1pm-3pm.

The Food Bank provides food and other basic need items to a network of partner agencies in the Hudson Valley. These partners, like food pantries and soup kitchens, provide those supplies to low-income residents.
Perishable and non-perishable food is purchased/donated from large and small commercial food donors including retail locations, distributors, and wholesalers, as well as from food drives done by community groups, schools, and businesses. This food is then distributed to over 450 community-based member agencies throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties. These agencies include food pantries, soup kitchens, and other nonprofit organizations with feeding programs.
Operates a food bank. No meal service, grocery pick-up only. Call for assistance, prior to pick-up.

Provides food and clothing pantry services. Serves as a surplus food distribution site. Lunch served on weekdays by Maudie Mae's Community Kitchen. Free Thanksgiving and Christmas meals provided, along with a Breakfast With Santa. Holiday baskets also available for residents of Eastern Orleans County, including the Village of Holley, Town of Clarendon, and Town of Murray. Provides family development/case management services. Offers public access computers with internet and senior activities including bingo and crafts. When funding is available, provides rent and utility assistance in emergency situations under specific circumstances; clients should reach out and share their circumstances to learn whether they'd be eligible. Also offers a health clinic which provides the following: - Telehealth services - Health coach services, including health referrals and guidance on health insurance - Visits from Oak Orchard Health's mobile health unit, which provides lab services and a nurse practitioner
