As a Parish Outreach Center, provides a variety of concrete emergency services, such as bereavement support group for loss of a child, food pantry, home delivered meals, clothing, limited financial assistance, holiday baskets and gifts, transportation, shopping, budgeting, employment advocacy, and basic needs for living, ie furniture to community members living within parish boundaries. Provides a food pantry and other basic needs of living to help those within our parish boundaries. Offers direction to those entitled to benefits such as SNAP, HEAP, Social Security, Child care. We work closely with the Nassau County Department of Social Services.
Provide free, peer assistance to veterans and their families in obtaining benefits and services earned through military service that is provided by the VA and other agencies of government, and to provide outreach concerning our program services to our community and to veterans and their families specifically.

Offers food pantry for residents in need
Provides a comprehensive early childhood developmental program for children ages 3-5 of low income families as well as family support services. Specific education, health and social services objectives focus on cognitive and intellectual development, physical and mental health, as well as the nutritional needs of the child. Provides a food pantry open to the public during school year months September to June. Provides seniors with a nutritious meal five days a week at a low cost. Also provides socialization opportunities, participation in group outings, attendance at legislative forums in Albany focusing on issues relating to seniors, recreational activities, and guest speakers addressing issues and concerns of seniors, such as Health Medicaid/Medicare, Food Stamps, HEAP, counseling and low-income housing needs. The program also provides transportation to seniors for their medical and dental appointments, prescription drug pick-up, food shopping and other essentials and to family and nutrition services.
