PUPPY WALKER PROGRAM | GUIDE DOG FOUNDATION FOR THE BLIND
Recruits and trains volunteer puppy walkers , who raise and socialize guide dog puppies. Volunteers raise puppies for one year, teaching puppies house manners, basic obedience, leash walking and exposing puppies to a variety of experiences and situations. Training manuals and free weekly obedience classes available.

Eligibility
One year commitment required must be able to spend time with puppy to train and socialize. All volunteers must successfully pass a home visit. Volunteers must purchase dog food for their puppy.
